BTW.. I got an MVP 2 in the mail yesterday..not a great feel in the hand yet, but the battery life is rocking it so far. I still love my egos.. probably better than my ITVV3's.. which the battery life on has been a bit disappointing. I just love the feel of the Ego's. Will probably always have a few.

How long does your MVP last on a charge?

See, no offense Jonathan, but this is what I hate. Guys start to talk all this..'you need a torch and you have to flame the coil'..all this talk intimidates us girls.
Chad said it the other night. You need a drill bit (or something else similar in size) small crochet needle or I use a very large industrial size sewing needle. You do have to have some wick and you can buy Peaches and Cream white yarn at Walmart (boil and dry it)
You hold the appropriate amount of yarn against the needle (for structure) and wrap 5 times-pull the needle out and attach the ends of the wire to your screws in the dripper. If you want to change your wick you can pull out that yarn and insert some cotton (boiled and dried) up in the shape that would fee into the coil you made.

The one thing I think you have to buy online is the Kanthal wire and lots of these online vape store have it. I have 30 gauge.
You have to have an OHM reader to test the coil you make but if you have a device that reads OHMs you use that.

I have per the box: Kanthal A1 wire Flat ribbon : .5 x .1 (resistance says 9.2 ohms/ft) and round: 32 gauge (13.1 ohms/ft) would these work with the IGO-W?

I don't know how long the MVP charge will last. I got it yesterday and have been using it since then and it's still at a 3.9 charge. My VV3's started out lasting about 6 hours and i'm guessing between 4-5 now. My ego c twist about 2-3. I'll use the MVP at home and the others in the car and out.
ETA: I kinda wish i'd have skipped buying the VV3's and just got the MVP like I almost did. I should have gotten it and another Ctwist for alot cheaper for out and about use. The VV's are a bit better, and are VV/VW but I would have been fine with the MVP 2 and some extra egos.

I couldnt taste absolute pin much, (clearo at b&m) but bowdens mate had so much menthol, and I dont like menthol a bit. What did you think of gambit?

Final thoughts on five pawns....

Grandmaster, nothing but peanut butter.
Gambit, maybe it needed steeped but really did nothing for me.
Bowdens mate, too much menthol.
Queenside, not bad. Light orange and citrus flavors...refreshing.
Absolute pin...absinthe, black jelly beans, anise. However you say it that is prevalent flavor. The first two or three drags I could taste some faint cinnamon, but after those first few toots the absinthe took over. I like nothing in my mouth less than black jelly beans but I love absolute pin!!! Lol now to find a "cheaper" alternative.

In the mail:

The steam co..... Dragon warrior, blue Lagoon and gentleman's reserve.

TVC...Hobbes blood and unicorn poop.

I messed up the steam order when I placed it and got zero nic. Gave them a call to get it changed and they were nice on the phone...hope they get it right since I can't lol.

Once I go through these I'll be getting some stuff from mad murdock

Also looking forward to the HB Watermelon on it's way. I hope it changes my mind about watermelon vape. (I've only tried 1 so far and it was gross, no watermelon at all) I so want a good one for summer!

I was not disappointed with HB's Watermelon. It is a true watermelon flavor to me. One of the rare fruit vapes I crave. I hope you like it too!

The man thing comment was totally a joke, lol. It's a personal thing, I have seen people use blu's successfully. I needed more than an ego or I'd smoke analogs once in awhile(or once in a day), think I have even mentioned as much in this thread before. It's all about whatever works for you as an individual. I'm not trying to say by any means that a mod/rba combo is absolutely necessary for anbody, just is for me.
I never had any interest in rolling my own cigarettes and I have no interest in building my own vaping whatevers, lol (and I probably already have every tool necessary).

I bought a Vamo just because I wanted the longer lasting battery (longer than the Vision Spinner). I bought the Aspire Nautilus because I wanted the 5 mL tank.

Currently, I have Cheesecake Torte loaded up in the Nautilus/Vamo and Blueberry Cheesecake Torte loaded up in the Aspire Vivi Nova/VisionSpinner.

All is right with the world. :2cool:

I like kind of a hybrid technique... twisted ribbon around silica or ekowool(no room for mesh in my a7), but I make a regular 4/5 coil instead of a micro... Tried a couple micros and I think I like the regular ole 4/5 wrap better
I went and bought a torch and a small bit set after I had built a couple coils. Read about making micro coils. Watched a couple videos. And voila. It's not too hard. My coils don't always work. But then again im usually rebuilding protank heads, which can be a bit more finnacky.

Rewrap your coil w/ more wraps than you made, you have too low resistance. VV mods usually need at least 1.3 or a safety circuit wont allow them to fire, I shoot for 1.5 to be on safe side.
OK so I am trying my IGO-W on my vamo and its reading 1.1 ohms...good bad or ugly? And the Vamo is displaying "Lo" Ohms :-S

Another one i'm thinking of trying is Signature Smoke Black Bull.. black licorice and red bull mix. I ran across a vendor yesterday that has Absinthe but I can't find it. I would like to try a Pluid type but a cheaper version and hopefully not gecko green color.

I have this one-haven't tried it yet. That's the second time today someone has mentioned it-so I'll plan on trying it tomorrow!

That was just with the coil that came with it. I don't have cotton to try this yet.....and not sure if the wire I mentioned earlier will work or if I will need to pick up some wire as well.

I just went and looked at the ohms chart and noticed the 1.1 is not even on the chart LOL......I will have to find someplace to get some cotton

green dragon, blackfire cherry, red sunrise, raspberry fallout, dragons nectar, desert ship, island fruit punch. My gf wanted butterpaw crunch and pomegranate angels breath(She is more picky/cautious, and only vapes 0 nic for fun, lol)

I got the blue and the red dragon, red sunrise, butterpaw crunch, Tahitian vanilla and lime cheesecake, plus a reorder of the Dragon Myst on this last order I got from them. I also have the black cherry fallout and the apple angel's breath but I haven't tried them yet. I love their dragon series. So far I like all the ones I've tried. I'm letting this new order steep some though since I just got it a few days ago.

On a related note, I decided to revisit their Pure Sex tonight and for the first couple of hits the champagne was still coming on kind of strong, but then all of a sudden it mellowed out around the fourth or fifth hit, and now it is just delicious. I was going to put it away for a while longer thinking it still needed more time, but it has really come together. I can't really explain it, but the champagne really complements the fruits now! I definitely like this one!

I would try silica, im not too big on cotton. Microcoils and cotton are hard to start with. Try some regular wire 28, 30, or 32 gauge. Thread a needle up the middle of a 2-3 mm peice of silica/ekowool. Cut a length of wire 3 inches long and torch lightly from one end to the other while holding with pliers, you want to make it glow orange but not yellow or white... if it goes yellow or white the wire burns through. hold silica w needle up middle w/ pliers, and torch it til it glows white. This is for cleanliness purposes, to make sure ther is no gunk in wick or wire from manufacturer. leave half an inch lead hanging off and wrap 5 wraps of wire around wick. pull needle out. MAKE SURE TO WASH RDA THOURUGHLY!! They leave machining oil and rust preventive oil all over these things, never use the coil that comes installed on one... Thread leads through, tighten screws, snip ends, and you're done
That was just with the coil that came with it. I don't have cotton to try this yet.....and not sure if the wire I mentioned earlier will work or if I will need to pick up some wire as well.
Also, there couldve been a short, make sure coils always clear, dont let your coil touch top or bottom of rda anywhere, never use the pre-installed coils because these things are usually FILTHY with oil new, FILTHY
