Can we please not get into a pissing match about RBA/RDA stuff?
It's really ridiculous. Jonathan, PBusardo is hardly the end all to end all in RBA/RDA knowledge. I remember him doing a review on the Youde AGA-T3 RBA tank, and he trashed it because he couldn't figure it out, lol

There is no "One" right way to build coils, that's what makes rebuildables so much fun. As long as it's done safely, and coils are accurately checked for Ohm resistance values, don't trash another man's techniques.

I only say cotton is better flavor than silica, because of a safety in numbers agreement on it. But, if a guy/gal loves silica, so be it. I still kinda question using Ekowool, as it's manufactured in Eastern Europe/Russia only, and that's kinda scary, but I've used it, and continue to.

My favorite wick for a tank, is no wicking material at all: stainless steel cable w/ a SS mesh sleeve at the top. Still amazes me how well this set up wicks, without having to tilt the iHybrid Pure.

I will say battery safety is a MUST! Most people that have AW IMR's actually have clones. There is only a couple of sources to purchase actual AW IMR's in the USA, and wonderlite (A registered supplier on ECF) is one of them! For sub Ohm though the Sony VCT4 or the new VCT5 are by far the battery of choice. High drain capacity 30amp. We have been also using the Efest Purple 2500mah 35amp high drain batteries. I don't think they are really 35amp, but we haven't experienced any major issues with them.

Be Safe in RBA land! :)

Sterilized rolled cotton from CVS is far superior flavor to silica. It's really not that hard to work with, and easy to change out quickly.
All kinds of video on you tube to get someone started. And then you get to join OCD (Obsessive Cotton Disorder) on Facebook! :)

What is sterilized rolled cotton? As in-where do I look at CVS to locate this? Yarn department? lol and I sterilize it myself? I promise I will try to limit my questions and do some research and get bizzeeeeee with this, this weekend!!!

Nope :)
Bandages/band aids/gauze aisle

Product is called: Sterile Rolled Cotton
1 latex free roll
Cost is about $5.50

Pro: Don't have to boil it. You can cut to any length/thickness desired

Do you like that better than the organic cotton balls that I use? Is there a difference?

I love that all these ladies are building!! Personally there's nothing better than my SO looking at me in wonder, I don't even hang my own pictures! I use sterile cotton. Rolled or balls, not picky. I will be honest silica is about 30-60sec quicker, but cotton is so worth that extra minute! I can taste silica bad. But I still buy premade kanger coils. I can't taste it as much in those. Learning to rebuild those is my next move. I hate to have disposable anything if not necessary.

This whole thing was over whether or not a torch is needed, betcha you have one for making your mesh wicks, dont you? Regardless, I was just trying to help one person out with their situation, if you go back to the beginning, the convo wasnt about the best method or right method, just the one I prefer. Then everyone had to go getting offended that I offered the advice of buying a tech torch, and people have to act childish, lol. Now you join in the argument too, for what reason? Obviously not to stop anything. What vendor are you with again? This isnt really over a torch, lmfao, this is because I have posted my political ideals and some dont agree w them, so they choose to try and pick ludicrous little fights when I 'm just trying to help someone out.

You know you're sick when you don't feel like going outside to get your vapemail. Don't feel sorry for me though - self induced. "Never drinking again" and all that fun stuff. LOL. Maybe I will feel like trying my Southern Steam cheesecake tonight.

Sorry you're not feeling well, no matter what the cause was! Hope you feel better soon! Can't have that vapemail sitting out there all alone! :p

I know you will love them. I have Legendary and Caramela. Please let me know how the Watermalone is. That is a high VG juice isn't it. I have one high Vg Strawberry Brulee, its great.

The watermalone is refreshing and yummy. It is the best watermelon/melon vape I've tasted-tastes very pure. I need to go back to MOV and order some more!!! Any suggestions?

Sure. I always try to give back to the collective, I have found so many good liquids/vendors on this thread that I feel the obligation to do my part. I got dipstick(fun dip candy), nirvana(}mixed fruit) and nostalgia(tobacco). I think it was lotusgirl or angelphyre that recommended the vendor and nostalgia. So far the dip(which was really filled w crackajack) is the only one I've tried. Tastes exactly like caramel corn, might get another bottle on my next order. Buttery, but not in an icky way like the moo's from mt baker
Hey Jonathan, out of curiosity...what did you order from Clever Vapes? I hadn't heard of them and visited their site. Crackajacks sounds really good. Will you post a mini-review after you sample? Thanks!

Actually Jonathan, not so much what you say, but how you say it.
On one hand you say, you want people to be nice to you here, but then you say things like "And back on topic after that bit of rudeness,"

You ripped a guy for saying he could pulse in a coil on an SVD, and use the LMFAO acronym constantly in a berating tone.
Well, if you don't wanna get called out, then notch it back a bit? :)
We've had a great discussion going on here for months, and there wasn't a drop of negativity until you dropped in on us.
You mentioned that you weren't all hurt about getting stepped on for voicing your political views, but you keep on bringing it up?
So, please don't act like we are the ones taking the talk off eLiquids. Stop being condescending, and treat others the way you would want to be treated, and respected, and I think everyone will get along just fine.

So this is just the rolls of gauze? Like for bandages? Also did you see my post last night about the type of wire I have? Will that work? Kanthal wire one is round I think 32 gauge? And the other was a flat wire. This is actually starting to interest me! I will plan on watching some videos after work tonight.

Thanks to everyone for the help and variety of answers to my questions on the RBAs

Yes it is sterilized but in cotton rather than a gauze (which I associate as a weaved bandage).

Sure, you can wrap coils on most gauges between 26 - 34.
32 gauge is easier to wrap if it has been pre-torched, as Jonathan mentioned. :)
I rarely use a torch on thicker gauge Kanthal 26 or 28.
I forgot the associated diameter of your flat wire.
Here is a link with a chart that gives the round wire equivalent to the various flat wire sizes -> Flat Ribbon Kanthal

Get a life man, I'm through talkin about it. Idc if you like a different method than me, to each their own. I was tryin to convey what I found most to my liking, and people wanted to rip on me for it. You werent even involved, so just drop this kiddie bs.. Im here to find new liquids and report back. Also to learn from other's trrial and error and try to contribute things I've learned from my own. Cant we all just get along? -

Thanks, chanelvaps! I actually have a Chanel poster up in my sewing room. :)
I also emailed Namberjuice, and Nick said as much. Testing out the Vanilla Peppermint now; seems very gentle thus far. Saving the Mistress (chocolate-peppermint) for after dinner with coffee!

Chanel was a heck of seamstress. My thing is and always will be 'wearing a Louis Vuitton but saving for a Chanel.' I LUV the bags and have been known to be a bag ...... I have owned 2 Chanel's in my life time and long (lust) for more. She was actually a fascinating person. Read any of the books about her?

So How's everyone been? Figured I'd check in and let you know I'm still alive :) Life and work have just gotten crazy the past couple weeks. Mostly work. Been traveling a lot lately! I hope to get caught up in thread but figured I shouldn't let that stop me from posting. I honestly haven't read anything between page 370 and here :(

Oh well, couple updates:

Had my first Velvet Cloud Vapor order arrive last week while in Vegas. Sampled it last weekend and do these things need a few weeks of steeping or what? Jrenae4? I know you love their juice, how long do you steep them? They all seem blah or muted. I got Catherine the Grape, Peach Tea, Vanilla Custard, White Beard Tobacco and they through in Monkey Biz. I haven't tried White Beard yet as my limited tobacco vape experience from Vapor chef order tells me to let it sit for a few weeks.

Also got in my Free-State re-order. Yes, finally a 30ml of Vanilla Mint!!! Also sampled the Mango Lassi, pretty good FOOB at most Free State juices seem to be. Had to get some more Lychee Pear as well.

Now I'm ready to try Plume Room. I'm holding out for a sale! I know we can't post codes here, but anyone know if they'll have anything for St. Pattys day?

Hi Brett! Good to see you in here. We missed you! I am not a fan of VCV and we just do not bond well. I know lots of peeps love them but I think they are mild.
