If you continue to have an airy draw on other mods, try a flow control valve, its only $3 and can be had on almost any site w rba hardware, I like evcigarettes and discountvapers
Switched to menthol and Blackbird 503 mix for now.. vape tongue. I really want to try my HB watermelon.. it will just have to wait. BTW.. i haven't been using my PT mini's for quite awhile because of the airy draw.. but I put one on my MVP with the beauty ring that came with it and it corrected the draw just perfectly.

Do you work in a bar? I went to a bar when I was in San Francisco, and noticed how many people still smoke! I was kinda grossed out by all the smoking. There was only one vaper in the wild there. He was vaping Njoy's.

Yes I work in a sports bar. Lots of people vape. But I was at the bar for an event the other night :)

Anyone who loves VCV , I just put 4 bottles on the classies..just not for me but just ordered them last week.

I will check it out. They do need a good steep however, 1+ weeks.

It's crazy how subjective taste is. I have been vaping Sour Skittles all day and get LOTS of authentic fruit flavors. I just love it. It's hard to imagine anyone else not. But I feel like my tastes are different from you alls :(

Last night I went to my son's basketball game. When I got to the entrance (no lie) there were at least a dozen people smoking cigarettes outside the entrance. Apparently the facility was also hosting a bingo night there too. Anyway......it took everything in me to not whip out my vv3 and give a lecture/demonstration. I actually still like the smell of a real cigarette but walking through that crew with all the smoke made me glad I'm not in that club anymore.

I bought a Kayfun Lite Plus clone a few weeks ago but haven't even opened it yet. I still have coil stage fright going on :(

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear I am going to join you on this one of these days!

And to keep on topic here.......Gremlin's Chocolate Overload is really so good. I went through my 10ML sample in 4 days an just reordered a 60ML of it. Also requested a sample of their Vanilla Overload too.

LOL at work I ask them to blow their smoke towards me. I do like it. But when I was still smoking and vaping I hated the smell on me and I noticed it on my hands too. It was so GROSS.

Tell her not to be afraid, angiebubs:) It sounds way more intimidating than it is. I got part of my deejstuff order today, just the butterpaw crunch. I will let yall know what she thinks of it after she tries it, I dont do chocolate or butterscotch

Dont feel bad, we all have em. I spilled half a botlle of my bug juice the other day:( Theres one pro to plastic bottles, they are harder to spill. bout the only pro to em, lol
About every 6 or 7 days I have a bad vape day. Yup. Today is that day. Everything tastes foul, i'm spilling everything, juice all over my clothes, counters and batteries. Maybe I should just start drinking instead. LOL.

Thank you Angelphyre! I am a late bloomer when it comes to school! I have had several other professions before this. Fashion marketing is the next in my life journey....

Yeah I was like that too! I didn't even go to college until I was over 30, and by then my kids were in school and I was working 2 jobs at the same time! Don't know how I survived that! LOL! I think it's great, no matter when in life you go. My Mom was 54 when she graduated with her degree! She was my inspiration! :)

Good luck in your new field! That sounds like it would be fun!

i only recently started thinking the smoke smells gross, maybe 3 months ago, before I used to think it smelled wonderful. I would smell one in traffic and crave one bad all the time. Glad thats over with. My dad quit smoking like 35 years ago, but when I smoked around him, he always wanted to smell it. I was worried I'd never stop liking the smell either:)
Anyways, tried nirvana from clevervape today... This one is mysterious. At first I tasted apple and banana, but after a few hits, I tasted peach and a hint of cream, not banana. It's like the peach and banana take turns being there, never both at once though. I like it, nice thick vapor and th, the mix must be at least 50% vg. I'd rec this one to anyone who likes mixed fruit vapes..

It isn't nearly as complicated to make as everything sounds; it was pretty simple. (Would be even better if i had the right stuff! LOL) However, I think there is a lot for me to learn in order to figure out how to get better clouds/flavor, ohms to change. Lots and lots to read.

I try to always carry a back up for my back up. :p

I second that! I carry a whole vape kit with me! Has several different tanks with varying flavors, extra coils, extra battery. Never leave home without it! Has saved me quite a few times when something invariably doesn't want to work.

Angelphyre, was it you who recommended nostalgia to me? I'm pretty sure I'd really like it if they hadnt accidentally sent me double flavor:( I think what I mistook for anise is green tea, the double flavor(and the juice being unsteeped) are giving me a tough time telling how this juice will be.

Nope wasn't me. I haven't had a chance to try any of their juices yet. I'm trying to decide today which vendors I'll be buying from this weekend, as it seems that's become what I do on weekends now...shop for ejuice and gear!! My bf thinks I'm nuts always on here and different vendor sites! If he knew how much I actually spent, then he'd probably have me committed!

Yeah my boss keeps trying to get me to go to law school so I can join her in her firm as a lawyer, but I really just don't have that in me at this stage in my life. I'm actually happy where I am at now, and just don't want or need the stress of school again!

Ha, I guess my gf just took the if-you-cant-beat-them-join-them approach to it and picked out a mod and atty. She has a totally different flavor profile than me(desserts, coffee, chocolate), but now the weekend ordering is a couple thing:)

Jeez, gone for a day and 21 pages to catch up on

OMG a party in and of itself :headbang::headbang:
Yep it sorta was a party, abeit a somewhat humbling one...
My new RBA is a different design than I was used to so it was like learning coilbuilding all over again...
And the highbrow didn't show...

I will say battery safety is a MUST! Most people that have AW IMR's actually have clones. There is only a couple of sources to purchase actual AW IMR's in the USA, and wonderlite (A registered supplier on ECF) is one of them! For sub Ohm though the Sony VCT4 or the new VCT5 are by far the battery of choice. High drain capacity 30amp. We have been also using the Efest Purple 2500mah 35amp high drain batteries. I don't think they are really 35amp, but we haven't experienced any major issues with them.

Be Safe in RBA land! :)
AW actually maintains a list of known fake sellers over on their sales thread on CPF..... hcigar is one of those....
Thei label used to be the black oval with the holographic oval around it and holographic AW...but they just changed them recently to combat fakes...so now a holographic oval with half solid half watermark holographic background and black AW...

I've seen pictures by a vaper of at least one of those purple efest batteries that went into thermal runaway...they were running a 0.5 ohm coil.....not sure I trust them at all...*I personally wouldn't use them*

So this is just the rolls of gauze? Like for bandages? Also did you see my post last night about the type of wire I have? Will that work? Kanthal wire one is round I think 32 gauge? And the other was a flat wire. This is actually starting to interest me! I will plan on watching some videos after work tonight.

Thanks to everyone for the help and variety of answers to my questions on the RBAs
Rite aid and walgreens have it too...

All of this talk about Highbrow and no one has mentioned their Limoncello. It's exquisite! I could swear they used to have a Dulce de Leche, but I don't see it on the menu anymore.
Got this coming whenever it decideds to show up..
I've only seen rolled cotton at cvs in first aid aisle.
See above...

They have a flavor called, uh... "whispering eye". ew.
Eww!

I had evods, and I thought the flavor was better than a protank, or any other clearo. Darned things leaked all the time though. I could never take them in the car, theyd leak in under half a mile. What did you think of the aurora? I have thought about getting one myself
Evods for me always developed small cracks in the inside of the mouthpice after a few months causing leaks...

**As far as a torch goes....it depends on the type of coil as whether I'd bother...basic coils for an RBA or to replace Evod coils I never bothered....doing twisted kanthal or using 32g kanthal to do micro coils I did to aneal and "freeze" the shape and tightness of the coil...it can make it easier to place, adjust, and wick a microcoil with the use of pointed tweezers...expecially when not doing sub ohm and in tight spaces... (example, my new RDA is 3 post, and about 16mm deck space (typical is abut 22mm)) **

I've had to explain to more than one person that I am not using illegal drugs when i'm out vaping-I've had several comments.

At work here on lunch-as usual my protank starts to act up and clog up while I'm here, ugh! This is why I need to start using new things!

I fixed my PT2 by buying an aerotank base. I love it now!

:vapor:

Wish I could like this a bunch!! So proud of you next time will be twice as fast I promise!

It's all a matter of personal preference, like a lot of things we all like our own ways for our own reasons. The flat ribbon has to be annealed, IMO, prior to use because it's so darned springy. I like to do it to burn off any residual oil or crap from manufacturing. I tried micro's and found em not to be worth the hassle, Thought I got better flavor outta the standards myself. The twisted coil looked like fun to make, so I did it for the fun of it and also to subohm w/ this big spool of wire I used w my vv's.
So, hows the flavor on your new RBA? Which one did you get? Any good gourmet ejuice come in the mail today?

If you continue to have an airy draw on other mods, try a flow control valve, its only $3 and can be had on almost any site w RBA hardware, I like evcigarettes and discountvapers
mcmaster-carr and grainger also have these clear rubber spikes....you can shove them into an airhole and then trim them flush and pull them out later...

back in school and almost done too..at 38...started as an ironworker and now back in school to specialize my welding...

for years I just carried a non expanded soda bottle test tube with an extra 18650 and a 306 atty...one of the nice things about a mech...
And a juice bottle or 2 in the pocket for dripping...little 3ml ones I found somewhere...
Just recently bought an MVP2 just to throw in the glovebox as an emergency charger tho...and so I can send my mod back to the guy who made it...so he can touch up the finish to match my RDA... (gotta love a lifetime warranty that includes the finish)...
