That's entirely subjective. If you're looking at it from just a capacity stand point the CE2 or Clearo in one of the tank mods is popular and the Ego Mega Dual Core just came out recently that's advertised to hold 5ml of juice, real numbers will probably be a little less but still that's 2 days vaping for me. If you go for the Ego Mega you'll need an adapter to use it on anything but the riva/ego fat batts.

Ok to be a bit more clear . It is for my mother who is new to vaping . I want a simple metal carto with lots of capacity . The clearomizers won't be any good as I think she will pull the tube off . Not meaning to but she might . I will be filling them for her as her eye sight isn't the best . So far I have just ordered echo bottom coil 2.8ml carto to try out . Being new I don't think she needs a dual coil .

Just wondering what the best high capacity cartomizer is in both single and dual coil .

Call me stupid, but I would think the more coils there are the less room there will be for juice. I can prefill 3 joye 510 cartos and they last all day. Atty gets very hot. Vapor is actually too thick for my taste but no ecig is perfect for me. Looks even more like a real cig than the 3-piece 510 setup.

HTH,
Dave

The best preforming carto I have found is CrystalClearVaping's 1.7 mega carto (15 for $20 with free shipping). It holds about 2mls. It hits like a freight train, tastes great and lasts a long time. As far as dual coil, I like the mega ego duel coil carto from madvapes ($2.50 each + shipping). It hold about 4ml and hits great. I also like the echo-e carto from cropduster ($4.95 with free shipping) They hold about 3ml. They are a bit expensive but last a long time and taste great. They are the most elegant looking carto and I think they would work great for your mom. Good luck on your carto search! :)

I also like the Echo-E cartos. I'll usually have three or four, loaded with different flavors, going at the same time. Once per day (even though they usually don't need it), I'll top them off directly from the drippy bottles, and I'm a chain-vaper. Once per week, I'll clean them using plain water and an ultrasonic cleaner. (Then they dry for a week while I use another set of Echo-E's.)

Lots of vapor, lots of flavor (for a carto), plenty of throat hit, plus moderate maintenance and long life -- what's not to like?

Totally agree and another plus, they don't leak! Tanks like to leak like crazy in this west Texas heatwave! No leaks with the echo-e!

The size of the coils are so small they don't effect juice capacity, maybe a drop or two at the most.

I am leaning toward the echo-e single coil and I'll tell you why . Dual coils or LR carto's use more eliquid faster . I want higher capacity but not to go through the eliquid faster . I gave her a 510-T and a few carts for it and I gave her some LR boge carto's but if she sticks to it I was just going to prefill boge 3ohm carto's or if I can find a higher capacity carto's that is simular to that then maybe that is what she will get . She may decide she wants the 510-T setup so all this maybe moot .

Don't forget you need the ego batteries for the echo-e. Otherwise 510 batteries would last about 10 minutes!

I have the echo-e single bottom coil carts now and they work pretty good on an ego battery . Not like a dual or LR cart but since she is just starting out and didn't do well with the 510-T and the 24 mg/ml juice I have gotten her a couple of echo-e carts and Smok 510-T and carts and also have 3ohm boge cartos on the way . I will be starting her out on 9 mg/ml juice . That souldn't give her a sore through that see complained about with the 24mg/ml juice . I'll start her out slow and go from there .

Well it sounds like you have a plan! Tell her I said happy vaping! And it is never too late to vape!

I'm going to ignore the "best carto" part of the question because there are hundreds of right answers depending on who reads the question and focus on the "high capacity" part. There's more than one good solution to that too but here's the one that's working really well for me right now.
Vaporescence - eCigarettes, Accessories, US Made eLiquids
It's a tank that you can put whichever carto YOU like the best in (except standard 801s which are too fat). The only thing is that a couple of slots need to be cut in the carto near where the inside bottom of the tank comes to allow the juice to wick in but if you or someone you know has a dremel with a cutting wheel it's easy.
Won't be for everybody but it works great for me. I use Ikenvape 801 Fusions in mine. They have the same size tube as a 510 carto with a wider connecter collar at the base which makes a nice shelf for the Liquinator tank to sit on. You get the full carto plus about an extra 3 mls and you just put more in when the tank gets low. Never dries out the carto. No burning.
