I'm curious to see what you think about it.Triple parallel 2.5 mm 8 wraps single coil came in at 1.1 ohms, time to wrap the 2nd one mount them up and give it a fire.
Wait a second... Is that using 28awg?

1.1 on one of my dmmA 8 wrap 2.5 should be around 0.5ohms.
All I know is i just wrapped it and measured it and its 1.1
Did you calibrate the DMM to account for the test leads resistance?1.1 on one of my dmm
I did , .1 internal on the fluke, but i realize my mistake... I measured a different coil that is laying in the pile on the workspace.Sorry if these are noob questions but something is amiss.
A 3mm coil needs a lot if air coming through a very large air port.I gave a parallel coil a try this weekend. 2 strand, 28G KA1, 8 wrap @ 3mm .64 ohm. I'm somewhat underwhelmed. Was expecting bigger clouds from that much surface area, and the flavor isn't so great. It could be the atty though. I put it in my Plume Veil. I guess maybe I need more airflow? Running it @ 50W because it gets too hot and dry hits at anything higher.
2ND THIS! Not so great in my plume veil, muchhhhh better in my mutation xA 3mm coil needs a lot if air coming through a very large air port.
