Karen, if I want to fill a cart, I usually remove the filling, then add drops of juice till the cart is half full, take tweezers and replace filling slowly, giving it time to soak up the juice, then if need be, add a couple of drops to top off, making sure the juice isnt pooling at the top.

If I am in a hurry, I make a hole down the side of the filling using a cocktail stick, then drip juice on filling allowing air to escape via hole.

I have tried soaking the filling in the juice and then replacing it, but you have to re insert the filling holding the cart on its side, allowing any excess to escape into an eggcup or bottle lid etc., so this way can be messy.

The filler will not displace the liquid I take out the filler, fill the cart with liquid put the filler in. and if you need more polyester filler go to Wal-Mart and get some 100% polyester batting for quilting look at the bag and see if it is fire ......ant or not get the one that’s not fire ......ant for $5.00 you will have more filling for a lifetime.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so thats how I was to fill my carts.. LOL, I just cut a little coffee straw, placed in the side of it..oh but first I pulled the filling out, to loosen it up a little then at the same time put my cut straw in down the side of the cart and tweezered the filling back in...

Then added the 15 drops..

Makes sense to take out the filling and fill first.. UH DUHHH... newbie here.. LOL, just got my Janty C... today and did it that way.

Thanks for advising us

The Janty is one of the ones I considered - I got a "hand me down" instead (Free is a heck of price!!)

Not that I can afford to get another new toy, but you like the Janty?

There are so many filling techniques, but the one you choose that completely saturates the cart filler is best.

The folks that use a syringe with needle fill from the bottom up, mucxh like is done in the manufacturing process. It gurantees you get the most liquid in your cart.

Some drip some liquid in the cart, stuff the stuffing into the cart, drip a fe wmore drops, pull the filler up to the top, restuff it down to the bottom, drip some more, and repeat as necessary. There are smushers. This technique takes mre time and manipulation, but eventually produces a cart fill nearly as full as a syringe user.

Lots of folks just top off with three to ten drops (depending upon the device you are using). Sometimes the toppers will go with the same cart for weeks at a time. They never really refill a cart but keep it wet enough to procude acceptable vapor.

So you an use a syringe to fill from bottom up, smush or top off indefinitely. Certainly more advanced vapers will chime in with refilling methods I missed.

I would say it just depends on how absorbent your filler is. I just drip from the top because I vape a lot during the day and it is far to messy to remove the filler and most other ways are a lot of trouble. If you are using original material dripping is just as effective as any other type because it absorbs very well. If you use a straw, it is just as effective from the top. I use a DuraC and a RN4081 and both of these work well this way.

ok today i got myself the first bottle of e liquid, fruitbomb from totally at 11mg. (i think i need lower but anyways...) i went and bought a syringe from a nearby pharmacist, and proceeded to fill up my nucig carts. i really did find the syringe method very good, with a pointy end. i think the syringe is the best tool for filling up microscopic carts like the nucig 84mm carts. P.S. still got laughable amounts of vapour if any! tried dripping but just got the same. ah well let's just wait for my 510!
