Right now the doggystyle rta is the best rebuildable MTL tank i have tried. Kabuki works well if you don't want to build......
    OT but;
I'm always wary of polls asking which is the best (insert item here) ?
The assumption is that the pollers have tried EVERY other *whatever* and then decided. The reality is the *whatever* that has been promoted the most (and sold more units) will get more votes, sometimes based on the sampling of only one or two *whatevers*.
    Probably.

I fully agree & I think you should use a tank/rta/rda etc... That you like, not go off reviews or even polls. Most reviewers give every single review they do a thumbs up & say they've been using that mod an that mod only for month. Then two days later they are doing another view.
They are a couple of honest reviewers like jai for example but an awful lot just go with what's popular an all of the fools call the NautilusX a terrible tank & it's not!! I'd like to see what they class as a good freaking tank. Its a popularity contest with them

I actually have heard mostly good things about the X.

I do think, though, if you've found a setup you really like, there is no need to go further. I might have NO interest in other tanks except that I *am* interested in building coils. Maybe that will transmute me into another galaxy of vaping, but to be honest, if I were allowed one tank only, it would be the Nautilus 2.

I think everyone's different so you can only go with recommendations and watching reviews *more for information about if it might work for YOU* is really the best bet. I can certainly be the first to admit that I have bought products that I wasn't wild about, it's kind of like finding the "right" cig, in some ways. :) I don't expect to find my ideal couple of setups right away, and I will probably waste money on products I didn't need or like. That sort of thing.

Best of luck finding what you need!

I've watched the YouTube videos on the DoggyStyle and it looks good. How is it for pocket carry? Does it leak?

Still vaping my old Kayfun LPv2. I have a stack of new MTL tanks, but after cleaning them up with Isopropyl alcohol and water and trying them all I always go back to the same old trusty Kayfun. Usually it's either the draw isn't right or the airflow and juice feed adjustments are way too touchy to make me want to use it for an ADV.

If I have to re-adjust airflow and juice feed every time I remove it and replace it, that's a mark in the NO column! I've been hoping that the right MTL RTA would hit the market, but atomizer makers are trying to please the MTL and DTL crowd simultaneously in their designs without much success, IMO.

I like the easy top fill ports on the newer tanks and the exterior appearance. The Kayfun Mini v3 and the AugVape Merlin are passable, but the Merlin is one that has the touchy airflow and juice feed adjustments.

There's a "MOUTH TO LUNG VAPERS" Facebook group with almost 700 members.

A poll was recently conducted to determine the best MTL tank.

Each member that participated was asked to vote only once.

Here are the top ten tanks by votes:

    Kayfun Mini V3 - 23 votes
    Digiflavor Siren - 18
    Kayfun Lite Plus v2 - 12
    Aspire Nautilus Mini - 9
    Kabuki - 7
    Skyline - 6
    Nautilus 2 - 5
    SXK Doggystyle - 5
    Kayfun 4 - 4
    Origen Genesis - 3

I have to admit, not surprising the km3 is tops....it truly is an awesome tank imo. And flavor is really good and intense because of the small chimney

The doggystyle has replaced the Kayfun 3 mini as my go-to tank. Mounting the coil is so much easier on the doggy. Wicking is more forgiving too. I've never had a dry hit or a leak. The air flow control ring is too loose for me so i super glue it fully open and forget it's there.
The acrylic tank threads wear out eventually due to constant removing to fill so spare tanks are a must. That's probably my only gripe with it..
It is a true MTL tank and works best for me at 15-20 watts with a 2.5mm 8 wrap touching coil using .28mm kanthal. It also works well in TC with SS wire.
    And it looks cool !!

Might have to give it a try....how's the TH compared to the km3? I noticed the chimney on the dog is short and wide and ones that I have tried like that lack that intense TH, but then again, maybe it was something else. It's also a pretty inexpensive tank, no? And it seems pretty small, which I like...

For me the Doggystyle vapes the same as a Kayfun (a little airier - but still MTL). The chimney is about the same diameter and the bell is slightly bigger. I vape 16MG liquids and get the same TH (if not a little more) than the Kayfun. I find because of the wicking system and slightly more air i can run these 5w higher then the KM3 without the risk of a dry hit.
I'm still trying to work out how these are so leak proof - wide open huge juice channels suggest easy flooding. But they don't !

SKX 'Clone': FT (Use discount MAP in the basket).....
Exceptionally well made. I wasn't even aware there was an 'authentic' !
I actually thought the doggy was an authentic China made tank and thought perhaps it was around 30 bucks, but when I looked into it, found it was 150 bucks from france, or a 15 dollar clone like you use. I kind of wished it was a cheap authentic because I'm not to keen on clones, but perhaps I will give it a try .

Not sure the term 'clone' even applies to this atomiser. It's branded as a 'doggystyle' so there is no attemp to decieve. I too, assumed it was an original design because who on earth would call an atomiser 'doggy(style)' except the Chinese ?!!
I have a Seiko 5 watch remarkably similar to a Tissot watch - they're both the same shape, material and function. One costs 5 times the price of the other and they both tell the time......

I am pretty happy with the X. Over the last few months I have bought the NaughtyX, and the Quad Flex Survival Kit, and two 4 ml extender kits. So now I have two X's at 4 ml (one for my dual battery box mod and one for my single battery pipe mod) and a toy to play with for messing around with coils that can turn those tanks into a RTA, a RDTA, or a squonker if I want to. For a total of $55.
