The whole mtl thing seems to me like a way to market an underperforming system as a feature.

:lol::lol::lol:
Lol dude.

I know the op seems to be speaking about pre mades but...
From left to right;
Kfun 5 (mtl reducer), Heron V1, calix v3, phenomenon lite, dvarw, spheroid v4, kayfun mini v3, kayfun lite.

Which one of these do you think fits your description?

Again, lol.

Some of us like mtl vaping

Dayum straight. In fact, I can't even make a recommendation here because I like every single thing that I use.

I like them a LOT, in fact. Not an underperforming thought either.

Damn. Dude try post a more impressive pic.
I needs me a box. If I could stop buying these tanks perhaps I could afford one :?:

Thanks but I think your pic was a WHOLE lot better than my impulsive "spin & snap". :thumb:

Appreciated though. :)

Well, not really, because MTL systems are designed to mimic smoking. I've tried vaping up to 150 Watts and I was eventually unsatisfied with it because the experience was so different from smoking that I began craving cigarettes again. I bought lower Wattage coils for the tanks I had, and then bought cheap MTL devices to use, and then bought MTL tanks to replace the tanks I had. So, for me, that 150 Watt tank underperformed because it failed to do the one thing I use vapes for-to keep me from smoking.

At the local vape store where I heard they term mouth to lung I was applied to some drastically under performing products that barely beat a 2.2v gas station mini.

After reading this thread I have since set up a velocity RDA at 1.3 ohm because big clouds are in fact not always a good idea.

Has anyone tried one of these?
N-Vape Mini Pro - Clearomizers / Atomizers
Looks a bit old but long lasting coils and re wicking make it a good deal for me.
I haven't tried that one specifically but I've use that sort of old style clearomizer. Assuming they're still the same, Coil life is in fact fairly long because the coil is inside a silica sleeve. They also provid very clear flavor. Downsides are changing juice flavors is truly annoying and they're somewhat difficult to fill.

DL-direct lung. Almost all sub-ohm vaping is DL.
Back to the question. Do you like rebuildable or drop in coil tanks?
There are a couple of MTL threads on here. Just look for the "tootle puffer" threads.

I noticed that as well, Eskie. "Interesting", eh? ;)

I've watched the YouTube videos on the DoggyStyle and it looks good. How is it for pocket carry? Does it leak?

I like many MTL tanks, and the Dog is absto one of them. Zero leaks, and easy to build/wick. The air flow ring is sadly a PITA to remove and put back on, and unfortunately it's necessary to remove to refill it.

Other than that, a sweet little MTL tank. Very.

:D

Loved this post. It's a bit of a far cry from your first in terms of your thoughts of MTL tanks.

MTL is the original vape. :vapor:

Not sure the term 'clone' even applies to this atomiser. It's branded as a 'doggystyle' so there is no attemp to decieve. I too, assumed it was an original design because who on earth would call an atomiser 'doggy(style)' except the Chinese ?!!
I have a Seiko 5 watch remarkably similar to a Tissot watch - they're both the same shape, material and function. One costs 5 times the price of the other and they both tell the time......
I'm not saying ones better then the other, but imo it is a clone. The smj looks the same and it is called the same . The authentic, I found, is made by animodz and it's called doggy style rta. With all the great reviews on this tank, I'm sure it's a fine tank, but unless I'm missing something, how can you say it does not apply?

My mistake. I thought one was called 'doggy' and the other 'doggystyle'. If the original is also 'doggystyle' then that would explain a lot. Those damned Frenchies are obsessed with procreation. From now on i'll stick to good old English atomisers such as the 'Abstinence' or the 'Missionary'.........

Cool man. I've tried setting up many drippers as mtl but they just don't cut the mustard.
As @Katdarling said; 'MTL is the original vape.'

There is a huge difference in specific higher end mtl tanks to the cr*p your speaking about.

That is why the kayfun 5 was a fail for me. It was tailored to the 'whoosh whooshy' guys after all that the mtl vaper had given svoemesto. The rubbish little reducer was an afterthought which cost me money. The vapes acceptable, but my view on the tank was diminished even before I got it. I'm biased :nah:

On a lighter note; kayfun mini v3 is the t*ts

thats why i went with my velocty. It has infinitely variable airflow. Down to zero. Also it builds well as single coil. Ive got a kayfun 2.1, 3, and a russian around somewhere, but im just off tanks myself.

IMHO the velocity is one of the classic hard to outperform at what they do devices, along with the kayfun 3 and the Eroll. Incidentally if you really really really want the most cigarette like experience, i'd say an eroll is still the winner.

Actually, the French are obsessed with sex, not procreation. The birth rate there has fallen quite a bit, it's actually a reason why many societies can and will allow immigration (of course there are other reasons). I spent middle school in France, and thanks to that I am obsessed with cheese, pate, baguettes of course, and the culture in general.... It's a neat place and I enjoyed my stay there. We also ate plenty of freedom fries, LOL. :) My only gastronomic sadness was when my older brother tricked me into eating horse at a restaurant (I love horses) by telling me it was something else. My parents just laughed, but I guess I can see why, since I'm 43 now, not 12....

Oh, that's such a sad note I can't end like that. Well, one great thing about the culture is a lot of folks will drink the best hot chocolate instead of coffee for breakfast I used to really enjoy breakfast :)

A modern single coil re-buildable with a short chimney and a big build deck to maximize flavor.

Serpent-Mini-parts-550x366.jpg

My vote goes to the Serpent Mini.

Tiny little thing though, won't hold much juice (2.5ish ml) but that's part of the magic behind the outstanding flavor. I carry around a unicorn bottle whenever I need to top off anyway.

I suppose, but I like mechs. Cylindrical ones at that. The Reo is not what I want and unless your squonking, a dripper seems like a lot of work.
I dripped for a long time and know how they work, if your looking for a good mtl experience i would stay far away from those eroll things. Admittedly they are cheap, but they look it. I can imagine it perched in the garage (gas station). Plus, what they giving, 50 mah?

Get yourself a heron V1, oh sorry, you can't. Never to be produced again :p

If they do produce another, I'll buy it...
