Got my panasonic batts from fasttech today.. Be aware.. these are flat top, not the button top. I've tried them on the EA and the Roller and they work but they don't work on the Provari's. Not a big deal since I've got a couple Aw imrs and since I have only one extension cap, I can only use one at a time in the Provari's.. but I wish they worked on both the Provari's and the mechs.

I bought the above deal from fasttech... I don't usually skimp on batts but these were advertised as authentic and the deal was promoted in several places. I am using one now in my Roller. I just want to be safe and have a good batt. Both supert and rtdvapor sell both the flat and button top version of the CGR18650CH and they look just like what I just received from fasttech.. I just don't see the word Panasonic anywhere on it though. I don't mind paying for good, safe batts but there's no sense in over paying when I don't have to. I'm hoping that these are safe to use in a mech?

I know there are button tops out there but they don't seem to be as prevalent, especially in the actual original wrap. I have button tops in the original wrap and also from Orbtronic in a black wrap, the quality on the orbtronic ones are better for the button tops, same cell just seem to have a better button. Doesn't matter, mechs generally don't care and the fast tech ones I linked to, the picture is actual CGR's. So if the picture matches the battery they should be fine in a mech.

Normal flat top CGR18650CH's don't say Panasonic on them. They are gray, say "CGR18650CH", have a warning, say "Made in Japan" below that warning and have what look to be QR codes visible under that the gray label.
