Would prefer something along the "quality" of an F16 or Ikenvape but I have yet to see an standard length f16 and we all know how hard it is to get of hold of ikenvape's carto supply. Flanged or not does not really affect my decision. Just really antsy to use my 22mm ibtanked standard length tank finally. I've had it for a while but all my cartos are extra long and look funny.

I've tried the Boge (XL, pre punched SR and LR ones), the raven cartos from gotvapes (meh, draw is a bit light on them) as well as the smoktechs, and so far, I've not had a bad boge. EVER. I've had some DOA smoktechs, but everyone seems to like them the most... my best piece of advice is to try a sampling and see which works the best for you is all.

We're always saying that taste is subjective, and I think that this should carry over to the cartos as well...

Is there a "best" carto? My ibtanked 22mm will be here this week and although it comes with one carto I will have to get more eventually.

    Pumped to try the ibtanked.

Smoketech and Boge are the most popular. People are of the opinion that Smoketech's are wrapped looser and therefore better for thicker juices. Boge- the opposite.

This might be why I prefer the boges over the smoktechs then, as my juices tend to be a bit thinner (50/50 is the thickest I run in my tanks, generally, though I do have a room fogging thick juice for my drippers)

An update on teh raven carto as well... after running about a ml of my ecto DIY juice through it (60/40 mix) and turning down the wattage on my PV to a cooler 5watts, its hitting REALLY good, with great flavor... I'd almost say as good of a flavor as I'd get from my drippers... the juice doesn't have much throat hit to it, but that's normal for me, and the vapor is pretty solid as well. If this carto holds up well, I might consider getting more...

Yeah, I imagine the design of the Raven puts it into the category of a clearo, rather than a fillered carto. People generally run them at much cooler temps, it seems.

Funny, it used to be all about hi-volts, and heat and TH around here- now people are loving low voltage, cooler vapes with lots of flavor.

Latter seems alot better for people and their equipment.

I've used all three brands, although I've not used many Boges. I use Smoktech's as my backups, but prefer using Ikenvape 510 Fusions and Platinums in standard resistance.

The above comment about choice of carto brands being subjective like juice flavors is a good one. Some people prefer Boges. Some Smoktechs. Some Ikenvape. Best thing to do is to try all three and see which you prefer for your juices and devices.

How are the IKV's in comparison to the smoketech's, Bad? I've been considering trying them myself... and are you using the prepunched, or punching your own? Also, what's the major difference in the fusions or the platinums? (not worried about the miniscule price differences)

My first Boge experience has been horrible so far. Bought a VVV tank with Boge cartos recently and no matter what I do, these Boges just are not wicking at all. I got the factory prepunched (2 hole), 35mm ones. Primed the Boges (endlessly it seems) by following Baditudes instructions (and others). Even tried using a needle and loosening up the filler material by jabbing it all the way down many times...as someone else recommended that. This weekend I let the tank sit for 2 days straight. Got about 10-20 hits off it before all the filler went dry again. Incredibly frustrating. Looks like IKV and Smoktechs are in my future because these Boges are horrendous.

BTW, tried using 65/35 and 50/50 juices. Same results.

I took a hack saw to one of the cartos this weekend to cut a slit into the side. Haven't tried vaping it yet but will soon and will report back.

Anyone want to trade 4 brand new Boges for some IKV or Smoks??? :)

Never trade my Boge's!! Lol. Maybe where you bought them has the old, bad ones yet. I try to buy at the places that have a high turn-around, like Surevapes or Hoosiers.

You sound like you're doing everything correctly anyways. Iken probably has some Platinums to try.
