The only things that anyone really knowledgeable has pointed out to me is that the AC9 is built like a tank. The walls of the top cap are waaay thicker than those of the AGA. He also said that they have a couple things built in that make coil building a bit easier. I dunno what those are though.

But performance wise, they say they're just the same.

I've been wanting a Cobra for a while.... Even since before I got my first RBA. But honestly, other than the coolness factor, the titanium and all, I've read several testimonies that support the fact that there isn't much difference in performance.

I can sacrifice bragging rights that "I vape a $150 atty" in order to have five devices for the price of one. I also just ordered relacement glass from IBTanked that allowed me to upgrade my tube from a 1.8mm wall to 2.5mm.

Top performance vaping for a fraction of the cost.

I have 2 AGA T2's running now with a 3rd on the way. Apparently it's all about how the wick & coil is set up that determines how they perform.... So a properly set up Chinese atty will outperform even the most expensive gennies if they are set up poorly. Which makes the differences MOSTLY aesthetics.....& price of course. Yeah, there may be some features that make them easier to work on, or perhaps last longer...but as far as vaping goes...it's all dependent on the user.

I spent big on batteries and Mods, but luckily I got off easy by finding the AGA's first before I spent too much to get the same vape.

Cool! I've had really good luck w/my AGA T2 so far & loving it. I have another one on the way now too. I can hardly believe how good this is going for me actually. I'm sitting here right now vaping some RY4 & it's just amazing. I'm still waiting for the bottom to fall out...but until then an RBA on a ProV is my vaping happy place.

I've been vaping the same two coils for almost two weeks with no drop in performance. Both on Provari's. what gets me is how a six month old DID, Cobra, ZAP, etc will bring the same money as a brand new one. That's fine and good... But I'm not too proud to vape a cheap Gennie and not have to spend the coin "just" to own one of the name brand ones.

I wrapped my first coil Friday & it worked unbelieveably well right off the bat. Then I bumped it w/the top after refilling the tank & it never worked the same after that. I didn't empty the tank & wrapped a second one. It started out fine, but developed a hotspot I couldn't pinpoint. I figured I could use some more practice & I had messed w/it long enough that I think the bad coil had sorta tainted my juice, so this evening I pulled everything apart & cleaned it up good. Wrapped a new coil around the same wick & it's back vaping like a champ. I wish I knew where that hotspot came from tho...still a LOT to learn here. BTW, I noticed that the center tube is different on each end, & I guessed when I reassembled. It's not leaking, but which end goes where?

On the center post, the short threads go on the bottom.

FWIW...if I find a good deal (like around $100) I still want a Cobra too, but no way am I paying full price for a used one or even close to it. I just don't get how used gear appreciates in value like that... Lots of elitism and posturing on he classies in my opinion, they need to be more realistic.
