This should put me at about 1 ohm correct? I will be using a k101 and a nimbus xl clone woth sony vtc5s

What's the XL Nimbus? Is it for 26650's?
You are correct in that that wrap should put you around 1.0ohms and do nice vapor clouds however it sounds like you're talking a single coil. I have a Nimbus and I think it does much better with dual coils vs single due to the dual air holes.
I would pick up an IGO- L or a similar single air hole dripper to get started. The Nimbus won't make as much vapor as you're looking for with a single coil.
Before I started messing with duals my IGO-L would blow the Nimbus away in vapor production with single coils.

Another good choice on a single coil would be 6 wraps of 28ga around a 3/32 drill bit/screw driver which would also give you about a 1 ohm coil or 10 wraps of 26 ga around the same 3/32". I personally like the 28ga on my Kayfun type RBA and the 26 ga on my RDA for single coils. I also like the duel 26 ga at .5 ohms.

Jrs i was wondering if i did use a double coil, would i really drain batterryife that much faster or is that a myth ?

Honestly I didn't really notice a difference in battery life but didn't pay that much attention to it. I'd just vape from 4.2 down to 3.7v and swap batts, never really figured out how long they actually lasted.
It does however eat your juice up a lot faster.

Not sure what to plug the hole with honestly. I've wondered if a drop of solder would do it but hopefully someone else can chime in.
Dual coils aren't that hard just remember 2 1.0ohm coils will make it .5 total. So if you're wanting a 1.0 ohm vape, just make 2 2.0ohm coils. I think I'm using 30ga wire at about 8 or 9 wraps for each coil on my Nimbus at the moment.

Jrs i was wondering if i did use a double coil, would i really drain batterryife that much faster or is that a myth ?

It all depends on the resistance of the coil(s). A 1 ohm setup will always pull the same current from the battery, regardless of how many coils are in the build.

Of course, going from one coil at 1 ohm to two one ohm coils (resulting in a 0.5 ohm build) will double the current drain from the battery.

Hope that makes sense... :)

Is there anyway i could just plug up a hole on the nimbus , i was looking at the #cloudchasing kit on bevapehappy.com its cheaper thatn buying all the parts seperate

There's a few ways, depending on what you're comfortable with - everything from putting tape over the extra hole (I'm not kidding, I've heard it done on more than one occasion) to filling the extra hole with a metal-based epoxy and sanding everything smooth so that you could barely tell it was patched shut.

Start with a 26 g 5/6 wraps, the flavor and nicotine hit will depend on how you wraps ur coil..
When I first started vaping I dint care about the FLAVOR, all I care was the clouds, but now I don't really care about the CLOUDS I'm a FLAVOR JUNKY.. Here's my favorite builts
22 parallel 3 wraps
24parallel 4/5 wraps
8 wraps 22 g
All single coil..yummy
U have to rememeber the lower resistance wire the thicker it is,more current, more heat, the size where you wrap ur coil doesn't really matter for me, its a feel, feel kinda thing, the higher the resisitance the longer it gets hot the longer u can drag the more CLOUDS u can produce,
VAPING is all about personal preference, don't be like the others, and I'm assuming ur 18

I ran a single twisted 28 gauge at .8ohm in my Omega clone and it was right there with my dual 28 gauge at .5 in my Trident. What I'm saying is I think every coil is different. What this guy gets in his Helios on a dual at .4ohm may not do as good as a single .8 on a Zenith. It has to do with the coil BUT wicking & air flow is just as important.

Just my opinion though....I'm definitely NOT the one for advice !!!

I just use the screw driver provided with ur nimbus.. It will work even if u have 10 airholes nayan, I have the stillare and I kinda like tight draw cuz that's how you get the FLAVOR dude..
