Also some more info. My style of vaping is I believe considered chain vaping for short periods of time. I like the cool feeling which I believe is caused by a dual coil(could be wrong) also would a ohm meter be a must? Considering the variable wattage? Sorry if I'm confused I'm new to rebuildables. I don't want a drip either, I'd like to be able to just fill the tank and be set. Any info would be greatly appreciated
You'll need to keep the resistance above 1.2 ohm because of the protection circuit. Doesn't really matter which rba you get otherwise. The trident is popular though it is a bit small, which may make it a little difficult to work on. There are a lot of similar designs though, like the Nimbus and Omega and countless clones.

A Trident, Nimbus, and Omega are all drippers. He wants a tank. The Trident deck is also larger than a Nimbus deck and easier to work on. I've not had my hands on an Omega, so I can't say for sure.
As far as the OP's question, I like the Kayfun Lite Plus/Russian 91% platform. Using Truman's long wick method with a micro coli at ~1.4 ohms is perfect for me. I am a flavor hound, and take long drags, definitely a chain vaper. IMO it has the best flavor and simplicity of build of the various tank and drippers I have tried.
FWIW I have not yet attempted any genesis style attys yet.
Look into 28 or 30ga kanthal wire, and I like cotton wicks. I am just not a silica fan. Yes, you do want an ohm meter.
The great thing about the Kayfun/Russian attys is that there are a million threads here with a million opinions on what works best. It is all a matter of trial and error. Everyone has their own tastes, so don't get discouraged if Joe Blow's be-all-end-all is not what you are interested in. You will find your way. One other thought, the Russian is typically readily available on VaporKings. The Kayfun... still waiting for mine.
