So I have a Lemo Drop and Subtank Mini but they both are more lung hitter tanks and I realize I am more of a mouth to lung hitter. I still use them just for doing lung hits but thats because I can't seem to get the type of draw I'm looking for with them, even after adjusting air flow. They're just too airy. I suppose I'm looking for something more like the old Kayfun draw and I do have 3 KFL+ sitting around, but they seem to be leaking a little and I'm too tired to try to fix that.. I think it has to do with the new bell cap tanks I have and them not sealing correctly. Any good tanks that are more about flavor and better for mouth to lung hits than vapor?

The Smok VCT tank airflow can be reduced for mouth to lung. You will want to use a different drip tip though, as the included one is too large to really get that experience you would have from a Kayfun. No leaks on mine so far, and I have had it about a week. They are pretty affordable too,at around $18-20.

I have 4 GUS phenomenons 2 phenomenon zests and 2 phenomenon lite. If interested search youtube for qorax, he does a review and build on the Phenomenon lite. It's a wonderfully flavorful atty.

Nice! Mine's the Lite as well. I can't say enough good things about it. I was so impressed that I will definitely be ordering more Gus attys. Probably the Estia first but I could see myself ordering another Lite or a Zest.

Can't go wrong with either zest or lite, slightly more airflow in the lite if that's an issue.

Well, when I try to put my Subtank on the smallest hole halfway closed or more, it just hits kinda weird for me. Like it's too wispy and kinda makes me cough. It's not the draw I'm looking for and I can't get it right. I tried a smaller bore drip tip and it's still awkward. With some of the other tanks, a smaller drip tip usually helps with obtaining that tighter draw I like but so far, the closest thing to it are clearo type tanks and the old KFLs I have. I have not tried the new Kayfun 4 so I don't know what thats like. I'll have to mess with my Lemo again to see if I can get a better draw with it. I do have a mini Erl but I find the wicking a bit finicky and I am not a good builder it seems.

If you haven't checked out this thread, give a look. Also - I've had Flawless MTL vaping with the below build. I had started juicing it, then realized I wanted a pic... After juicing I just tucked the tails down the channel and just barely gave a little nudge to the sides of the shoulders, in effort so that they might not drag on the chimney too much when screwing it on.

It's been pretty darn good with this build.

Any of these: Phenomenon by Gus, Kayfun 4, eXpromizer, Lemo, Rose v2, Prometey, Spheroid, Heron, Calix, Flash e Vapor, Taifun, Eviva-t, Erlkonigin, Tilemahos

Dual coil: Aqua v1 or v2, UD Aga t-7, Estia (tri coil).

There's a lot to think about :)
Excellent list of items for me to look into! I've never even heard of a couple of those!

Which tanks are best for single coil builds? I don't really sub-ohm and prefer smaller sized tanks, the Lemo, Taifun, Erl, and the older KFLs are the only ones I have experience with. I actually quite like my Kayfun mini's but I haven't been able to get them to wick well ever since I upped my VG, and on top of that I already have issues with bad wicking and dry hits so... ugh I dunno. Maybe I'm just not meant for rebuildables.

I will try the Erlkonigin build though. I've had either hit or miss with that tank. When it works, it's pretty amazing. When it doesn't, I just get mad and go to a tank that uses disposable coil heads lol.

You're verified. Keep your eye on the classys for a Spheroid. Its small, super easy to build, great flavor and m2l. It does get airflow from the bottom so needs a mod with air channels. Runs great on an istick though.

Or if you want to spend less, the Tobeco Prometey v2 clone. Its a bigger Spheroid.
