Getting into Halo juices, I really love their tobacco lineup, haven't decided which is my fave so far but I am currently vaping at 18mg and would like to move down to 12mg soon.
Which flavors produce the best throat hit in everyone's opinion? I am not a fan of menthol, so though I have read they provide the best, if I did smoke a menthol it would have to be a menthol that wasn't too icy.
Thanks!

Pretty much all of Halo's tobacco flavors provide equal throat hit. The formulation is the same. Just the flavoring is different. Just sample all of them and find the ones you like. Halo is old school. Very high PG in their proprietary base equates to massive throat hit. There isn't a cleaner or more intense line of eliquids out there anywhere.
As a side note, they are supposed to announce a line of more modern hardware and also a line of high VG liquids any minute to keep up with the latest trends. Myself, I'll stick with their original eliquids. I enjoy other brands but nothing satisfies like original Halo.

Just went to their site after my last post and its temporarily down for a major update. Like I said, any minute.. Don't expect throat hit from their new high VG stuff. pG is where it's at for TH and flavor.
Awesome thanks. I am very impressed with their flavor and throat hit I just wanted to make sure!

Hmm ... high vg from Halo !? Will they actually tell you the vg percentage ? Their Halo line has been on the market for a good six years and their eVo line for two or three, and to this day no one seems to know what the pg/vg ratio is in either one of the lines.

I just don't get the secrecy in this regard. If competitors want to know the ratio, it's a $ 100 test. They are only hurting their customers and would be customers by keeping that info proprietary. My only gripe with Halo ( Nicopure ).

Interesting ! So ten of their liquids are now available in 70 vg, but they still don't specify what the pg/vg ratio of their standard line is nor their eVo line ( or am I missing that info ? ), which btw they are selling themselves now. They used to only sell through 3rd party re-sellers.

that is correct. they are not saying what the original ratio is but i would guess it is around 50 to 60% PG.

edit to add: it may be higher PG like 70%.

i`m going to have to try the new high VG line. i loved tribeca on the equipment i started on but when i moved up to better hardware the throat hit from halo juice at 24 mg nic was too intense. i now vape 3 mg max VG juices for a smooth throat hit. halo was always at the top of my price point so i just had it on hand as a treat so i never see tribeca in my daily rotation. $20 for 30 ml is too much!

All over the place
Instead of starting a new thread I decided to see if this was mentioned somewhere already. How can I not order a high VG from Halo? It's a bit late after all this time, but I'd be lying if I wasn't interested. I mean, Tribeca at 70 VG? C'mon, of course I am getting it!

Edit: I also see that they are now offering 1.5 mg/mL too? Wow. I have to wonder though, did @Vapenstein convince them to do this? LOL. Awesome.

I usually stock up when they have a 20% off sale every so often. Also, you can accumulate rewards points that you can use to get a free bottle of juice once you have enough. I've been buying their liquid for 5 years, always been impressed with them, and look forward to trying out some of their new stuff.

I love Halo and P15 and Tribeca are my ADV's; they have been for a long time. But this flirt with high VG, together with bringing the Evo brand in house, have left me questioning Halo's long-term marketing strategy and direction. If they decide to cater to the cloud chasers and posers out there, it may help the company short-term by attracting this audience and expanding the potential user base. However, this will be a betrayal for everybody who embraced the brand, quit smoking with its help and, ultimately, made it what it is today.
