I'm that kind of"close". On the right is mine steeped. Left is a brand new bottle.

Been awhile since I had casa but liked it, and have some Turkish from Hangsen coming this week. Can't wait to give it a try. (Gold Rising from Ahlusion is another good vape that is peppery, not sure if comparable to Casa as it has been some time since i had it.)

Have only tried Pipe tobacco so far. Gotta play with the percentage cause others say 3% but it seemed lite. Bumped up to 7% and after two weeks still think I should go +1 or 2%.

When my ultrasonic comes in to speed steep gonna do it again, but start at 3% I think as a starting point which each hagnsen flavor I will have by then (Pipe tobacco, RY1, Turkish and Highway)

From what I have read, 1 hour equals about 1 week of steeping time. So just depends on the juice whether you would want to do 1 to maybe 4 hours. Whether you could do that straight or in a few sessions would depend on the ultrasonic cleaner. The one I have coming has a 99 minute timer.

I have an ultrasonic. Speeds up steeping? Just once or repetitively?

For a Turkish flavor, I vote for Hangsen. I've tried them from many flavor vendors and pre-mix vendors, and I think Hangsen wins the test. The FlavourArt Desert Ship is also very good, but totally different. I assume that Desert Ship is what you are referring to as FA Turkish.

I used to buy the Casablanca from Backwoods Brews. I grew frustrated with his shop being closed so often, and stopped buying from him, and that's what started me down the DIY road. Also, there seemed to be a lot of variation from one batch to the next. I did my own analysis of what was in the Casablanca and I became convinced that it's basically made from FA Desert Ship with some brand or other of cocoa flavoring added in small proportion. The cocoa flavor is what sets it apart. Cocoa is often used in flavoring tobacco for cigarettes. I've tried mixing it with FA cocoa flavor and Seedman's cocoa tobacco additive. Not bad results. Just use the cocoa sparingly to start and add till you hit the sweet spot.

Yes, see after having gotten my last bottle I felt the cocoa or chocolate was the base with desert ship shining only after a good steep. Tasting Casa before the steep it's almost totally a chocolate... maybe a touch of the acetyl pyrazine

It's funny because Casa being out of stock is exactly what sent me down DIY..

OT, but thanks for reminding me!! I've had mine steeping for about two months. Totally forgot about them; I did not like their flavor at first, even after a short steep. They're full, or were. I just fired them up in new cartos and both have changed a lot, are pretty good!

Check out the color difference from yours, though:

Casa is on the right. The color in the photo matches the real-life color very well.

Strange.

Just thought I'd check back in. I've discovered that for me and my drops that I get 20 drops per 1ml making the 1 drop per 1ml mixing ratio IS actually 5%. I've found most of my tobaccos I like at 6%. I just got flavour art cocoa in and put together what I think will be a perfect clone of Casa... thanks people
