I've soaked them in boiling water and they still have a weird taste. Probably from changing the flavors.

Atomizer - I use white vinegar. Soak for several hours, rinse under hot water, and let dry overnight. If this doesn't get all of the flavor out, go to wal-mart and buy a bottle of VG. It is found with the band-aids. Make sure the lable has USP on it. Drip a couple of drops on the dry atomizer and vape it until gone.
Cartridges - Remove the filler with tweezers. Rinse under hot water. Wrap in paper towel and blot dry. With the plastic part, rinse under hot water, then use a Q-tip to dry it. Replace filler with the tweezers, fill and enjoy.
Some people throw the filler out and use Marineland Type U to refill. Here is a thread about it. I do mine this way and it works wonders. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT IT. Oh, this can be found in most petshops. Wash and dry before using.

I've used alcohol, hot water as well as simply blowing them out. I didn't notice much (if any) difference in the outcome. It always takes some time for the new flavor to "take hold". For me anyway.

I have been setting them in a cup of boiling water with a splash of white vinegar...seems to work great with most flavors.
others tend to stick around a little more and need an extra round...
I'll do it every 3-5 fillings to keep it squeaky!
a good tip for rinsing is a turkey baster with a pen grip to get a good connection....helped me out a ton!

I'm having great luck with the ol' lipton pyramid teabag mod. Lotsa' good instructional vids on youtube. Way better than the original polifil stuff. In my opinion.
Had anyone had any success with cleaning a cartomizer?
I put an experimental flavour into one and it was FOUL! I'd rather not have to throw away the cartomizer. The flavour was mixed with 75% VG and 25% PG, and the flavour was....and don't laugh.....bacon! Yeah, I knew it was a daft idea, but I thought I'd give it a go!
