What is the best way to clean clearomisers? How do you get the taste of a nasty type juice out?

Isopropyl Alcohol is poisonous. I would not use it on anything I planned to eat off/inhale from later. I just rinse mine with water. If you want it sterile, use everclear or vodka.

I've read about every method. None of them work for me. If you're talking about Stardust, I've concluded they that are great -- but they have a very limited lifespan. No matter what I do, I cannot make them "as good as new." If I get three days out of a Stardust, I'm lucky.
Uh oh. I just bought my first 2, opened and began using one. The end of the second day I noticed the taste and vapor production had already changed, third day even worse. Was hoping it was cleanable to pretty much good as new...so much for that idea 
I clean my cartos and clearomizers by boiling them for about 15 minutes in 3% hydrogen peroxide, then rising them really good in water and either letting them airdry or putting them on a cookie sheet in the oven at about 100 degrees for about 2 hours. Cleans out a lot of the gunk and takes care off most of the smell....
Is the hydrogen peroxide we are able to get just about every where the type you use, or is 3% different? If so, where can it be purchased? Can atomizers be cleaned this way also?
Yep, just regular hydrogen peroxide that you can buy in a 500 ml bottle at any drug or grocery store for less than $2. And yes, it will work for atomizers, too. All you gotta watch out for is that you get all the peroxide out after you clean it by rinsing it repeatedly in water.......
I tried to boil mine, placed it in the hot water for just a few seconds and they started to melt. Not good. So much for that idea. lol Guess it's a learning process.
OOPS. They melted just by boiling them??????? Never had that happen to me. They should be able to take the heat, I'd think, considering the cartos and clearos do get pretty warm by chain vaping and don't melt..... Hmmmmmm.......
I have been using the same clearomizer for 26 days now (1.5 -2 fillings a day) and I flush it well with water every other day. It started vaping poorly 2 days ago so I soaked it for about 10 hours in PGA. It is like new again.
I take mouth pcs off & tube if I can & remove small rubber caps from coil (stardust,pull sm cup out w/neddlenose pliers)....I zap water in microwave & then drop it all in, let sit till cool ...air dry on paper towel ...then dry burn (next day usually) & reassemble ....tada !

90% isopropyl works as good as grain alcohol, it is poisonous to drink it, just make sure you let your clearo sit without the top cap on it for several hours to overnight so that the alcohol evaporates completely. Make sure you use 90% not the 70%, the 70% is too diluted and will leave residue behind. I use hot water and a syringe to rinse out my ce4+ clearos afterwards I use the syringe with alcohol to rinse the water out and let them sit to dry. I get 2-3 weeks out of a ce4+ of daily use and filling. Boiling works well also BUT DON'T BOIL THE PLASTIC TANK remove it from the base first, if you aren't comfortable with doing that don't try it.
I got the plunger kit for 15 bucks and it works great, flushs all that nasty juice out, but still I found you can only do that if the fiber fill is in good shape. After the first cleaning I usually have to toss them, just my experience.

I've been told that the "cleanest" way is to just soak in boiling water then rinse.
Is that a fair failsafe?
