This is why we had all those "word problems" back in math class: "Big Ol' Noob has some 6mg/ml nicotine liquid. How much 100mg/ml nic base should he add to 100ml of liquid, so that the resulting mixture is 30mg/ml?"

600 + 100x = 30(100 + x)
100x + 600 = 30x + 3000
100x = 30x + 2400
70x = 2400
x = 240/7 or roughly 34.3

CHECK:

34.3ml @ 100mg/per = 3430mg of nicotine added to your initial:
100ml liquid @ 6mg/per = 600mg, for a total of:
3430 + 600 = 4030mg nicotine, total, in:
100 + 34.3 = 134.3 ml final volume.

What is the nicotine concentration of this final mix?
4030mg / 134.3ml = approx. 30.007mg/ml

Scale this to however much 6mg you are starting with. I used 100ml so that 1ml = 1%. If you start with 30ml, for example, then use 30% of 34.3 (34.3 * .3 = 10.29), etc.

The calculator I use concurs with @bwh79 long-hand:

I entered info for adjusting only 1mL. Just multiply the result (0.343mL) by the number of mLs you want to adjust.

Get yourself some 100mg/mL nicotine concentrate; and mix away!

Do be aware, this is adding 34.3% additional volume, to a flavored (ready-to-vape) e-liquid. So, expect that the flavor is going to be diluted by 34%, as well.
