@landlocked - Or...you could go to the link below and get several of the dirt cheap joyetech eGo Mega Cone Shaped Atomizers to test your new eliquids. They're "old school", but work great for taste testing new eliquids! I bought a bunch of them for my vape stash, too.

They'll thread onto any eGo type battery, or you can use an eGo/510 adapter that are also really cheap. You just drop 3-4 drops onto the little mesh-covered atomizer tip in the cone, and try it. Only takes a few puffs for those drops to be used up, and you can put different ones in to try them. Use them like that until the little atomizer doesn't work any more.

They really do last a long time before they die. I use one every time I test a new recipe for DIY eliquids I make. Have only had 1 die in almost 1.5 years.

They're only $.82 each right now on Clearance, and you can choose 1.5ohms or 2.0ohms, and your colors you want. You'll need the Ego Mega Drip tips, too, which are really expensive though there, too...for a whole $.10 each! :D

Here's the link to them:

JoyeTech eGo 2.0 & 1.5oHms MEGA Cone-Shaped Atomizer - The Vapor Room - Use the dropdown box to choose the ohms and the color you want.

The Drip Tips are on that same page, below the atomizers, so you can click on them to choose your color. For those atomizers that are Cone Shaped...you want the Type A Mega Drip Tips.

The Vapor Room is a great company, and they're also an ECF registered supplier. Have done business with them for 3+ years now. Always happy with items, customer service, costs, shipping, etc.

I think it best option is to get an RDA, just a simple dripper that way your not dealing with filling and emptying a tank, you can just put a few drops on the coil try it out, and then move on to the next flavour.

I sometimes bring my Royal Hunter Mini a small dripper up to my local vape shop and try the new flavours that way.
It's ideal for testing flavours your not dealing with new coils or cleaning tanks.
I got the Royal Hunter Mini on sale at one of my local Vape shops for €10

You can pick up good quality clones for $10 - $12

I have zero experience with an RDA. Are they complicated to learn or messy?

There pretty easy to get started with you can be as simple or as complicated as you like.
It might be a little daunting to start with but once you get one you will wonder how managed without.

Even if you only use for taste testing it's worth getting one for that alone.

You will need a couple of tools basically a screw driver and a side cutters or nail clippers.
Here's a couple of links to show you the basics.

I recently purchased my first RDA - The Twisted Messes clone RDA and a pack of Demon Killer Coils for this very reason, to be able to try tasting many liquids without filling tanks!
Very easy to use and there are videos on You Tube- can be messy if you over drip, but I am happy I bought these and wished I had tried this earlier!
