Hi, i've ordered it and it should be here within a week, but I had a few questions.

1.) This is my first penstyle, I have a NPRO and a Pilot, so is there anything I should do differently with this one?

2.) Since carts are much bigger, do you guys reccomend dripping or carts?

3.) I heard some things about their batteries being bad, can anyone shed some light on that? I also ordered 2 USB passthroughs, as this will be a home e-cig and I only use it when i'm at the computer.

Thanks!

I just received the BE-112 from bestecig yesterday. So far so good. All componants function well.

1.) Feel the thing out. Easy soft drag produces good vapor.
2.) Damn, those carts are big! Don't quite know how one would easily drip as the atty is waaaayyyyy down inside the housing. Waaaaayyyyyy down I say.
3.) Mine came with the new mic batteries I've been reading about. Both were close to full charge based on how long it took the charger led to turn green. Heard this mentioned before also; very wierd to open the box (after cutting through a foot thich wad of bubblewrap!) and see the led's blinking at me. Initial turn on the charger last night and pulled on one batt all day today while at work. They are uber sensitive, least breeze and the batts turn on. Unsettling to hear the atty sizzle while the PV is idle in your pocket. I've been keeping it broken apart when not actually using it.

Day 1 was pleasant, see how it goes...

I use the penstyle from Bestecigs and I am pleased with Beci's service. The batteries are real sensative. They are as good as any other battery I have ever bought and cost a lot less.

I just fill my carts and use a metal (tooth pick will do) pick to fluff the wool afer I fill them to make sure they are full and there is no pool of e-liquid on top of the wool. The pool will flood your atomizer and run down into your battery, not good.

I use their USB pass thorugh with a kensington battery pack. If it had a battery like Janty, between it and the computer I would but, then I would have to ay a lot more.
I can go any where with a battery back, has to be at least 1800Mah. There is a thread here somewhere about it.

I buy most of my stuff from bestecig and use my BE112 (801) 90% of the time.

1) No nothing special other than unhooking atomizer from battery (see #3)

2) The big carts are great and last a long time but just like any other cart you can get a burnt taste if it goes dry.

3) The batteries are the one and only complaint that I have about bestecig. They are electronic switches and are SUPER-sensitive. The other drawback is that flooding the battery (by over-dripping or over-filling carts) can completely kill the battery. Just be careful not to use too much liquid. Because of how sensitive the battery is I would advise unscrewing batt from att when not in use.

The good news: I think their atomizers are great and I really like their liquids. After a penstyle I find it tough to vape anything else just because it is so consistent and has great vapor.

The really good news: BECI honors their warranty WITHOUT having to send back the defective product. He will just include with your next order.

The really really good news: HE ALWAYS HAS STOCK AND SHIPS WITHIN 48 HOURS and I have always gotten shipment in 5-7 business days all for about 40% less than the US suppliers that never have stock.

Good Luck I hope you like it as much as I like mine.

xKrazYx--The Best BE112 is an excellent cool running unit. You really should refill your own cartridges and avoid the dripping as it kills the batteries and the atomizers IMHO. Also the specs you need for a battery pack to use a USB passthough are a minumium output of 5v 1000 mA--not to be confused with mAH--which is lifespan of battery between charges----Sun

Thanks guys for the helpful answers!

When you say it's really far down into the housing, how far are we talking about compared to an NPRO?

Has anyone dripped with their BE112? I could get some pipettes or something because i've only dripped on my other ecigs.

I couldn't find my depth guage, but i'm coming up with 15/16 from top of bridge to top of housing, housing is approx. 13/16 dia. Or is it the other way around...

Yeah, that's why I wanted to know. Their prices are INcredible.

Any problems delivering to the USA?

I Have Had No Issues, But Check Other Posts. BestEcig Tend to Be Smarter Then Most Of Them The Other Companies and Mark There Packages Correctly For Shipping. Anyways Small Orders are Never An Issue.

Keep Vapin!

I was interested in the BE112 cigs too. I saw an eBay listing for "BE112 'BECC'" and the description had a bunch of stuff explaining how the BE112 is far better than the DSE901s and other lines. Said they have a longer cartridge life and are better for refilling. Longer battery life as well...

I'd like to see some actual reviews on these.

I ditched my 901s after getting BE112s. The convenience of the big cart and battery is great. But the BE112 batteries take some getting used to. At the end of the day, I got eastmall and ruyandirect batteries to go with the BE112 atomizers and it is cheap and functional.

But the big size takes some getting used to especially after using analogs.

Here are the specific advantages I see of the pens over the 901:
  • Bigger cart means less hassle. I vape all day at my desk. With the 901 I was refilling every hour or so and the poor design of the 901 carts meant that even being very careful, I still got a snoot full of juice at least once a day. 901s never seem to vape a cart dry. What I mean is that there is always some juiice left in the cart even when the draw gets dry. The pens have this issue as well, but not as marked and the bigger size means that it is not as disruptive.
  • Bigger battery also means less hassle. My pen batts never take as long to charge as they do to run down, two batteries are usually enough if you rotate them on the charger. 901 batts just run down too quickly for me.
  • Pens draw better. Not sure if this is due to the cart, battery or atomizer design, but the draw is smoother, more like an analog. That's my opinion anyway, your mileage may vary on that one.
All these findings are based on pens from BestECig, EastMall and RuyanDirect. My experience with the M201 was not as positive. I never tried the PS 4 hole. My favorite right now is the BE112 atomizer on an EastMall battery with Janty carts (the ones with the ridges).
