You're probably right. Addicts definitely don't like change though....
exactly what I was thinking .. hell I'm not terrible fond of change myself
Need help from former MFS (MyFreedomSmokes) customers
Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

I certainly don't want to be breaking any of the rules of the forum.
qsmbadmin said:This is a quit smoking forum. If you suggest that someone use electronic cigarettes for any reason other than to quit smoking, then you are in the wrong place.
Deadcat2 said:Was there any particular behavior, thus far, that prompted this warning?
Or was this just a general type of warning that was given without relation to anything said so far?
I ask because it turns out there are a few of us that are a bit confused.
We aren't sure if any of us have been saying things we shouldn't be saying.

So wait, do I have to wait for all my posts to be approved over there???

I just figure I will pop in there now and then and see if we have any posts ... that's all I can figure to do

No, just the first one. Fred has provided his official stance on why the board was changed. It is under the thread "Segregation" in Socializing. I think it's a very fair and accurate response. I, for one, am tired of being grouped together since we each have separate opinions, separate end goals, separate thoughts...etc. I love all of you. You all have a special place in my heart, and if I had to be lumped into one category only, I'm glad it's with you guys, but the reality is we are all individuals and not defined by our quit methods.
Their favorite tag lines are GTQ (Get the Quit), KTQ (Keep the Quit) and ETQ (Enjoy/Embrace the Quit)
Sustained use of e-cigarettes help us do all three, but one must know how to get, keep and enjoy/embrace the e-cigarettes in order to fully switch and quit smoking traditional cigarettes. Fred never says quit nicotine, he specifically says quit smoking. Talking about what to buy, how to use it, how to make them work as a replacement, etc ar all valid topics about getting people to quit smoking and switch to a reduced harm alternative.
OK, I will join there, but I'll only post informational threads in the e-cig area. I had to laugh that they gave Fonedude a hard time for posting his "Why I like the city" thread on the Quit Smoking main Board and not the Socalizing area, while they have several threads like "A place that was a hometown," "clueless," "Management consultants," "Dear Fred," and "I'm out" all posted in that same area!
Not over there... but... my theory on it is simple, but it's contrary to their opinion. If I vape 0mg juice, I'm not addicted to nicotine, period. It matters not beyond that. If I've taken my juice from 36mg down to 24mg and now down to 12mg in a short period of time (couple months) and I'm not going through the hell I went through when I tried cold turkey, when I tried patches, when I tried gum, when I tried Wellbutrin, etc; to me, it works and it continues to work. That's my theory, however someone else might have a different opinion. Bottom line, I'm not going back to cigarettes. When I'm down to 0mg juice and my vaping slows or becomes non-existant and I feel the need, I'll pick up my PV before I pick up a pack of smokes. To me, that's acceptable. Frankly, I don't care who wrote whyquit.com or even if the information on there is empirical. I know what works for me now and so far it's been more successful than all my other attempts combined. I've looked over Joel Spitzer's bio, I fail to see anything in there that makes him an expert on anything, except public speaking.

Ohhhh so we're playing favorites now....mmmm hmmm I see how it is Kat...![]()

IMO they are baiting cause that's a no win question for us. I don't believe for one minute that that question is being asked with a sincere need to know. We'll be damned no matter which way we answer.
If someone is going to answer it be careful and be ready to defend it tooth and nail.
Just my.
Sorry Shannon, I'm not a very good multi-tasker today. I have to be either on one forum or the other - my head starts to spin trying to watch both and work at the same time!
btw did you get any new pics of Bailey yet? I'd like to see how big he's grown.
