Bite the bullet and get a provari. It fires every time you press the button. It also hits like a beast. I smoked two packs a day before ecigs and sometimes the provari makes me cough when I take a big draw. It has amazing vapor production and great battery life. You can adjust the voltage to fine tune any flavor and to up the vapor production and throat hit. Before I got it for Christmas I cheated a lot because the weak ecigs weren't cutting it. Now I sit in the smoking section at work and vape away

Hello sawtooth
It's me, Bullette, here again
I went straight from blu to kgo
Got my kgo kit from dark city vapor cuz it came with cartomizers & that was easier for this newbie. Kit came in 2 days. Yay!
Here's what I ordered my first time:
Kgo kit
Boge LR 2.0 cartomizers
Drip tip
Ejuice (tobacco samples) that was mostly VG as I didn't know if I might have a problem with PG.
Then while it was being shipped I studied on ECf & YouTube.
This worked for me
Good luck & keep coming back.

24 hours with a Blu disposable drove me here, then after much reading, to an eGo T starter kit.
Partly because my 70 year old Mom had bought one a month prior and I loved the few hits I
tried off hers and because there was a local store that sold them and I felt buying locally would
be good in case I need help in person but I haven't had to go back for that. Best of luck to you
and keep us posted.

There really is no bad choice as long as the batteries you buy are large enough to give you decent vaping time and you use a good atomizer design. Boge Cartos are an extremely popular choice. They are cheap at $8 for a box of 5. That box will last you somewhere between 3 and 5 weeks, depending on how well you keep them topped off and the juice you use. Cartos (and most all filler attys) work better with a high PG percentage juice. If you like a little VG in you juice, choose 70pg/30vg.

I'd just order a box of Boge 2.0 cartos and a couple of eGo-T batteries. The 900mah and 1100mah eGos are 3.7v. The rest are 3.4v regulated. You could also order the variable voltage Ego batts for a choice of vaping voltage levels.

Whatever you do, try a box of cartos and fill them this way the first time. After the initial fill, you can top them off from time to time when the top of the filler turns white again.

GREAT VIDEO on filling cartomizers.

NOOB QUESTIONS:
On the 2 piece system
1) Where do you get the carto condom? (What comes on my "blu" cartomizers is way shorter than that!).
2) The fill end, is that the end that screws into the battery?
3) Where (what end) do you add drops of juice to TOP OFF a cartomizer?
4) How do you get it topped off when that hole is so TINY?

Thinking I'll be replacing my "blu" with the "KGO" soon! So many great suggestions here. Thanks.

1. I have no idea, to be honest with you. I don't use the condom and wouldn't suggest it unless you are using a manual battery. With an automatic, that method of filling cartos will eventually kill your battery. If ANY juice leaks into the battery, it will short out and die a very quick death.
2. The fill-end is the end where the little white plastic cap is, opposite the battery end. You will have to carefully remove the rubber stopper and o-ring if there's one. '
3. Same end, same place. Remove stopped and drip carefully into the polyfil.
4. If you're filling through the end I said, it won't be tiny, DO NOT drip into the small inner tube, that is your air chamber that allows you to inhale.

Welcome Saw Tooth!

I usually start all my new converts on an Ego (I only buy Genuine "Joye" Egos) with Boge 2.0 cartomizers. As others have said, you should always have two batteries as you don't want to be stuck without a backup when charging or out of luck if a battery dies. I usually teach the people I give kits to how to fill a Cartomizer or refer them to YouTube. There are a bunch of great instructional videos on ecigs on YouTube! Note: This option allows you to move to Ego C (tanks) later when you are ready.

Recently I have given kits to people out of State or casual acquaintances and, since I will not be available as much to answer questions, I have given them or directed them to Smokeless Image for The Volt. The battery has much more power than the Blu, is still cigarette style if that is still necessary to you, you can start with their pre-filled Cartos until you get comfortable with filling (if you choose to fill) and they have great flavors.

Huh? With all due respect, that isn't the case. There is nothing about filling a carto using the condom method that would cause it to leak any more than filling a carto with any other method. At the end, you have a filled carto. If your battery is so leaky that using a filled carto will kill it, you need to get another battery anyway. A carto needs to be kept wet. Not moist. Wet. If you have to use a dried out carto to protect a crap battery, you need a decent battery.

The condoms that come with good cartomizers are big enough to use to fill the carto. If you get away from the Blu and get a kGo or e-Power or some other decent PV, you'll be using cartomizers that come with adequately sized condoms.

Get 2.0 Ohm Single Coil Cartomizers, some juice, and a couple of drip tips. Drip tips are cheap and it is a much more comfortable vape plus you get more flavor rather than trying to suck through the tiny hole at the end of a cartomizer. That's just my opinion.

What he said. Drip tips are dirt cheap and there is no reason to mess around with those stupid little rubber stoppers on the end of a cartomizer. Here's a site where you can choose from a million of them for less than $2 each, plus shipping is only $1.99 for your whole order.

I have gone through 3 different e-cigs. I started with this gettobox off the street, that was a bust. Then I went to the ego-t which had a wick and it would clog up every other day. Then I went to the Provari which is phenomenal. It's pricey but it was so worth it. I have monster throat hit, tons of vapor, and the liquid is awesome.
