I am not sure why they named it an E Mech unless because of the Transformer toys. It is vv/vw and a good thing. I have 3100 mah batteries in mine and drain it to the last bar daily. The batteries were synced before they went in and I charge in the case but once a month they come out to check that they are draining fairly equally, charged in the charger and then stuck back in my device.

I'm surprised the E-Mech isn't more popular. I love mine too.

I should have gotten the 3100 batteries, but got the 2500's, because I wasn't paying attention. Good idea about taking them out and putting them on the charger once a month. I will do that. :)

Yes I totally agree. I have been a commercial electrician for over 10 years. So I already understood dc theory and resistance
but anyone who does not should never go near a mech mod. and honestly anyone who vapes at all should learn the basics and understand even ego batteries have the potential to short. I think a small informative pamphlet should be included with all vaping devices. from ego's to box or mech mods. sorry for the misunderstanding I was speaking from a quality of vape standpoint. I have actually had an ego vv pasthru device that after charging had a catastrophic failure as seen in attached photos. This doesn't happen often but the place I got the device from. has lifetime warranty on all regulated devices. however when one has an issue they give u a refurbished replacement. They repair them in house. and that particular device I had had replaced 4 times. because every one broke after a month or so.
sorry for any confusion.

prob had nothing to do with the charging. it was a device that u plug a ,micro usb cable into for pass thru / charging and over time the wires heatup and cool but cant handle the heat. poor quality solder and poor quality wire that's to thin. so the connections break

I got tracking on my ordered items so I know vapemail is on the way.....but most of it is not showing any movement since accepted....I imagine they are going to be slower than last week......and that was very slow....so if it crawls here the things I ordered might be here by New Years....lol....

Looking at lowering my nic levels again - seems like the longer I vape, the less I want the nicotine. I hope that trend continues. Not sure if I should go from 12 to 9 or all the way to 6mg.
Im still struggling to do that. im glad im smoke free after 14 years of a pack a day +. but only been able to step from 36mg to 24mg so far

Welcome CollectiveDeveloper,
Don't be concerned, everyone drops their nic level at their own rate. I smoked a pack+ a day for almost 40 years and now I have been at 0 mg for along time but it took awhile to get there. Some people don't want to or never get to 0mg, it is entirely up to you.

I started out at 18mg with DIY. I was making unflavored 100% VG from 36mg VG Nic and VG USP, mixed 50/50. When I found Cinnamon Red Hots a few months later, I was still at 18mg, but I have cut down to 6.5mg now in just over a year. I think I went from 18 to 14, then 12 briefly, jumped down to 9, and then 6.5. I've been at 6.5 for a while now. The only reason I mix 6.5mg is because the milliliters for mixing the Nic and USP work out in more even numbers for me when using 36mg Nic and 15% Cinnamon Red Hots. I recently mixed some other flavors at 3mg because they are for a Dripper. But I can see myself going to 0mg.

IMHO, jumping from 12mg to 6mg is a pretty big jump, but you know better how you feel about it. If you jump down to 6mg, and that's not enough Nic, you may start vaping a whole lot more, to make up for the difference.

Take your time and do it in the stages that work for you. The most important thing is that you aren't smoking anymore. :thumb:

I have a ton of vape mail coming over the next few days from all of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales
woohoo.gif

The only downside is that over the past 5 days my "Amount spent on vaping" has increased by around 30% Luckily I went so long without spending a ton of money on vape gear that even after all of my purchases I have still saved over $1,400 :D
