This is why you should never drip in near-total darkness.
I unscrewed the RDA from my mech and set it aside, in order to test the battery level. Then I got distracted by something and forgot what I was doing, so when I came back to it I just went on autopilot. Grabbed my juice and poured a whole dropper full of Chocolate Macaroon onto the top of my mod. Since it was dark, it didn't even register what I was doing. Then I looked up and saw the RDA sitting on my vape stand and realized my mistake. Had to pull the whole mod apart and clean it, feeling like a complete idiot.
But, I learned something. All the times I've read someone say they forgot to put the cap back on their RDA and burned their lips on bare coils, I was wrong to scoff and wonder how that was even possible. 'Cuz now I can totally see how that's possible. Up until recently, I've always been very mindful about dripping because I haven't been doing it for very long. But I finally reached the point where it's become as natural and easy as pulling a cigarette out of the pack and lighting it. And that's when things go wrong.

Not quite, but my hits off the .5, at any wattage, are not just warm, they're HOT. Others say that's unusual.
3/8

Update: I decided to swap out the juice I had in my Subtank for some 0mg high vg juice. Wow, what a diference that made! I tried it with both the .5 and the 1.2. So much better. Still warm, but not HOT. Then I put a different 6mg juice in and still better.

Must have been the original juice I used. :p
