Thought I'd share. Another Beyond Vape box arrived today. Love this company; frikkin LOVE em'!
L-R: Battery box (for, uh, batteries; Small carry case (dig these things for travel); 510 adapter for a new build stand I'm making;
mod Holster; Sage mod; Beacon mod in full copper.
The vape budget had hit it's watermark, so a little shopping was in order. Always wanted one of the Sage mods, and
quickly added it to the cart. Then I found the copper Beacon ... had to be done. Further investigation dug up their
"Slightly Blemished" page. I replaced the new mods with the blemished versions, pinching pennies along the
way, and adding the other 3 sale items (see: profit).
As for "blemishes"; I can't really find them. The finish on the Beacon does have machine lines, and may have been
tough to fully polish out. These lines are not scratchy, nor do they take away from the look (IMHO). The only
blemish on the Sage is on the top cap. And I mean on the very top, looking in. Just a couple of scratches
around the base of the 510 connector; but you would never see them.
Sage: Steel with Brass accents
• Magnetic fire button
• Silver plated over brass contact pins
• Comes with (1) 18350, (1) 18490/500 extension tube, (1) 18650 extension tube, (1) press fit bottom assembly, (1) top assembly
• Floating 510 connection
> I checked, and the hybrid top cap from my Neptune Hybrid does not work on this mod. Different threading.
> Strong switch: No auto-fire with a full 4ML tank. In case you forget to lock
Beacon: Copper, copper, y mas cobre
•Solid copper firing button and assembly with a silver plated, brass spring
•Solid copper contacts, tubing, and top cap
•Top cap has air vents and an adjustable contact
•Versatile telescopic style which can accommodate all 18000 series batteries (18350, 18490/500, 18650)
> Hits like the proverbial deisel-powered locomotive freight car hauling machine
> Strong switch: No auto-fire with a full 4ML tank. In case you forget to lock
Note on Holster: Fits my other mechs very well; even my eVic Supreme fits with the long strap over the top.
The wider Beacon mod (25mm) does not fit. No worries, it's mainly for the evic at work anyway.
