Hey all! I recently modded my plume veil for bottom feeding and I love it. I have only ever used an rm2 with me reo before and this is a wonderful new experience. I'm looking for another atty to mod for bf. My plume veil make my reo seem a bit bulky so I'm looking for a shorter atty, maybe a derringer or some thing similar. Does any one have experience modding other atties to work with a reo. I don't have access to a drill press so I would like to find one that I can make notches on the delrin insulators like I did with the plume veil.

Stay away from newest derringer 1.3. New 2 piece center post but the top part of the center post had a lip thst clamps down on a slim plastic ring between the post and deck. Makes draining near impossible and what you Wana do ruff.

I've done it but it was alot of work and I had to cut a notch in the center post bottom to allow the juice to reach the insulator. Dremel for that.

Should look for catfish atty mods to see if he has any left already modded. I believe he uses his own center pin.

Great atty though.. my fav.

Any other great atty is the rm4 thst already modded. Fits the reo as well as its only 18mm wide I think.

The RM4 is one of my favorites, but doesn't get talked about a lot. Great flavor atty with dual coils, 18mm, and looks good on metal LP Grands. I have 2 in my regular rotation.
