CC I'm new here, just subd. I gotta question..... are you putting any kind of a Finish on the brass for maintaining purposes .... I'm having flash backs from my tube mode days if having to polish it down to the threads.....
Anyway, beautiful work worth every penny.... I just need to start saving my pennies to get one OR two.....!
FYI, I remember watching someone put out a YT vid on a one time application to protect against oxidation...... IF SHINNY is how you wanna keep it....i can forward or list it if you want..... I actually bought the stuff never used it because I stopped using tube mechs.

Titanium has a higher strength to weight ratio, but aluminum is actually lighter.
What's it like machining Ti? I only have a tiny bit of experience with the stuff, having to drill a few holes in a client's enclosure for a job, but it was a gummy nightmare.
With the added strength, I was thinkin you could thin the walls considerably
