As far as ease of carry have you seen the Kydex belt cases that CB is doing?
Yes, the weight of a brass or copper one wouldn't be an issue in a belt holster. My copper CCM is just a few grams lighter than the smallest pistol I own, but when it comes to holsters, I'm strictly a leather kind of guy. ;)

Well,... we are officially into 2016... I think I've crammed more into this years calendar than I should've...

I'll get 'em all done though... I just gotta cut down on all that sleepin' I do... 3 hours a night is plenty, right?...right???

:D

My brass mod does not leave the house, took out once but decided it's for home use, not cause of the weight albeit who needs a gun when you have this available [emoji6] it's just to damn nice to risk dropping, scratching etc so it's a special occasion mod for me.

You could:

a) petition the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
to add a few hours to a day.
Normally they add a second and then only infrequently and often in leap years.

b) train someone else to do it and pay them nothing. Family members are best for this, but they often harbour festering resentments.

c) get a gun and force them to work, then at least they know your outlook. [Rossum has some cool guns]

d) none of the above. Just plod along making something that sells as soon as you can post mail it and delight in your own talent and hard work.
I know a woodworker that does d) except he's a bee if you see.

What vise is that? Kurt 4" clone? I tried the 6" but it was massive, sent it back and got a Wilton self centering 4" which is nice but it's a bit light on clamping power. I was leaning towards the Kurt 4" and still may go for it. I wish they still made the 3" Kurt.
