Do I need to use a stirrer straw with the blue foam or can I just put the blue foam into the cart?
There are several mods that use the blue foam. There is the "Plug", the "Slug" and my BFD mod. What kind of atty do you use. Most of these are for the 510. If that's what you have, the Slug is the easiest to do. You need nothing more than a piece of foam folded in half. Please search for the exact thread on how to do it. Obviously I feel that the BFD works the best. There are some folks that just replace the stock filler with the foam. I don't believe this works well because the foam doesn't exactly wick. In the mods that utilize it, it's function is to be a barrier between a resevoir of juice and the atty. Please just read the pertinent threads.

Thanks for the reply and links. I'll read them now. :)

It's too bad the images used in the posts have been deleted and are no longer available on the host site. :(
Images for the BFD are there. The other link, however, had the images removed. It's really simple though. Just cut a strip of foam 1/4" wide and 3/4" long. Fill the empty cart with juice. Fold the strip of foam in half and stuff it into the top of the cart. That's about it. If you use VG or a thick liquid just make it a bit shorter. Again, it works ok but doesn't work ,for me, as well as the BFD.
