I’ve been using my 808 cartomizers with an eGo battery for a little while now and really like the performance and added battery life. I would however like to ditch the adapters. After spending the morning looking I can’t find any big batteries for the 808 platform other then expensive mods. I’d like to skip the mod route because I typically have 3-5 flavors going at a time (and prefer not to be switching cartos, I like to just grab a handful of PVs and go.)

I can say the elegant is very good so far after using it for about a month. Long battery life and quick charge do it for me. Cigeasy has the Elegant. Vapornine has the defender.

Not sure if you want to grab a handful of elegant/defender batteries though. You could have a couple charged and that will more than last you and then just swap cartos.

Ditch the adapters? I'm a big adapter fan, especially for the KR.

For one thing, I've had a number of KR batteries and a mod that had draw problems - either too tight or too much air flow, for whatever reason my adapters all seem to have perfect draw.

Also, they help keep my devices clean. Any minor leakage from overfilling gets on the adapter, which is easy to take off, blow out, and wipe down - no juice in the batteries.

Any carto fits - sometimes you get a carto that sets a little higher or lower - it won't quite catch the threads because the connection is too low on the carto or if the connector is too high it can fail to connect - the adapters have that sliding connection post that adjusts itself and always provides a perfect connection.

And it protects my threads - with all kinds of atties I've had times where the threads seem off, jagged, or too tight. If I mess up the threads on my adapter, so what? If I jack the threads on my device, that is a problem.

Adapters rule. And there's also the part where you can use any atty on any mod - that's nice. Variety.
