Weird.

In only a week, I've figured out what I like and dislike.

Got my Riva 510 with carts and was immediately irritated with the whole cartridge thing.
Got a drip tip and threw away my empty carts BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE THEM!

They just get in the way of flavor.

I've got my deal set up this way...Drip tip for home with my Riva (lot's of vapor, ditto flavor) , Boge 510 cartos for work with my Riva so that I can get away from having to use my silly blu's.

In the far away land of hope, I will be getting that delicious VV Provari...If the vape Fairy can send me the money!;)

Sounds like solid advice for newcomers. Im going to have a provari mini as a backup device in a couple weeks. I am an exclusive epipemod pipe vapor as of now. Love how a pipe melts into the hand and feels very natural.

Good to see a Seattle guy in here. Your more than welcome to check out my Provari mini when it shows up in person if you want. Its always better to try before you buy. Also, as a local person we have a shop in Lakewood called The Vaporium. They let you test juices to your hearts delight. You may already be a regular there for all I know but Im just throwing it out just in case you didnt know about the place. There are also local vape meets to check out new gear usually held in Tacoma bars since Pierce County allows indoor vaping in certain places.

If Im just telling you stuff you already know I apologize. Just trying to help a local out like another did for me once upon a time.

I really appreciate the heads up...I'm only a month into vaping and it's already becoming a hobby for me.
No, I didn't know about the Lakewood store. I'll definitely be checking it out.

Could you give me a good link to your pipe mod? My dream is to puff away like Gandalf on a faux pipe. What a great idea!
I don't know about checking out the Provari just yet, since that purchase is waaaaaaaay down the road. If you could send me a PM next time you go to one of these vape meets, we could meet up maybe?

I live in North Seattle, it would be a bit of a drive, but worth it.

Good move with the carts. I don't know why they bother shipping them anymore. They must just have a billion already made and don't know what to do with them. They're pretty obsolete anymore.

Might want to try some of the larger clearomizer type of tanks, or even a tank system, at home. I was a dedicated dripper for nearly a year until I started using things, like the Vision Stone and the better clearomizers. Now I don't bother with the hassle of dripping and save the Boge 510 cartos for when I'm out and about. The CE2 based cartos and tanks taste as clean as dripping with none of the mess or hassle.

Good suggestions...I am a bit leary about the tanks, since I see so much frustration on these boards about leaking and strange tastes. I don't think there would be a hassle with leaking, since I would only tank at home...something to think about.

Congrats from Tacoma! Be careful not to drip and drive, wait for the stoplights. lol dlrquist, where can I find info about local meets?

You can go here, not sure why the last one is the only one posted. Maybe there are not any being planned right now:
NW Vapemeet - Upcoming Vape Meets

Or go to The Vaporium and check them out on Facebook or their website. Searching The Vaporium will getcha there. Ask on the facebook page and Im guessing they will let us know. I may just ask myself.

The Vaporium is an awesome place with a super amazing friendly owner who has bent over backwards to help me and make things right. I owned a Jtank for about 7-8 months and I went in to get a replacement punched carto when she told me they didnt stock them anymore that were the correct size due to not working with the Jtank supplier anymore. What was her solution, to give me a Volcano Tube Tank for free. I still bought the new cartos but didnt pay a dime for the new tank, she even made me take my Jtank with me. She has also let me stand there for an hour + testing juices and filled every tank I bought with juice for nothing.

Also, Volcano has opened a cafe in Olympia. They are friendly there also but not like at The Vaporium.

+1 on the Riva Kits - will definately last longer between charges than the skinnies.

I used tanks for a brief time, got tired of slotting & drilling cartos. I started using the Riva T Tanks, they are a larger ce2 style and hold quite a bit of juice. You do have to use either a syringe, or pull off the top plug to fill, but lasts for quite a bit longer than regular cartos and imho I think the flavor of the juice comes through better, hth ;)

Crop duster 901 has them;
RIVA-T TANK - $4.99 : CropDuster901 eCigs, eCigs, Vaporizers and Supplies

Good Prophets has them assembled or ala carte;
GP CE2 Regular Humongomizer Set-up for eGo 2.0ml

Nice! But do they sell Old Toby or Long Bottom Leaf?...and a Gandalf mod would be wonderful as well.

Not sure about the TH on such a long stem!

Edit: Oh, bloody hell, I just found it.

Pipe Sauce

Maybe like this one?

Gandalf HV Feeder - HV and Big Battery Pipes

Long Bottom Leaf is an epipemod pipesauce and was created by Matt Wellman the owner of epipemods.

The Jazz pipe is nice, from what many say work well, but the Wellman epipemod pipes are custom created freehand works or art. That just my opinion of course. Plus they are way more versatile and can be used with all sorts of systems. 306lr dripping, cartos, tanks, huge long stems. They are pretty awesome. He is about to launch a couple new versions of his pipes on his site and Vapefest simultaneously.

Well, it's worth experimenting with at that price. They look pretty cool to boot.

I take it I'll need a 901 to 510 adaptor for that to use with my Riva 650mah batt?

Nope, no adapter needed for the Riva batts, will not however fit any other slim style batts (has a inner threading on the sleeve that threads to the male threading where the cone would normally go) hth! ;)

Adding; the inner post is considerably smaller, it won't attach to a slim bat (as in it won't make any connection or attach to the inner threads on the batt), hard to show with pics;
