I do a lobster Mac and Cheese at my place of employment. Took a while to convince the owner that..."hey, this is Maine and we need SOMETHING with lobster". Started it as just a side but sold it out in the first night.

Really, a place in Maine that doesn't serve lobster?

Have you mixed the two? My grandma made mac n cheese and slices of sausage a couple days ago. I decided to be the weird, adventurous eater that I am, and mixed the two together. They mixed together wonderfully! If you have leftovers, you should try it!

That's how I cook it. I cut the smoked sausage into little circle slices and fry them, then mix them into the mac n cheese when it's done. So good that way.

Valkyrie I don't know if the law is still in existence, or if it exists in CT but when I was living in Massachusetts myself and some friends used to get a scuba divers lobster license and we would supply them for our friends that had a place on the coast...they did the traditional dig a pit heat the rocks put in lobster clams corn potatoes etc...it was a summer tradition
