Cookster, you could try some French vanilla instead. But that being said -- don't even try this recipe unless you have the willpower of a saint when it comes to avoiding the ice cream aisle at your grocery store. Whenever I vape this, I keep imagining that I'm dipping my finger in ice cream and my grocery store is always having "buy one, get one FREE!" deals on ice cream. Sigh. I may hafta buy a really big freezer and if I do, I'm sending the bill to djbishybish. ;)

Glad everyone loves it. :) the VBIC is kinda important to the recipe. But you could try a different creamy vanilla. Worth a try.

I revised this a little bit, gonna make a test batch tonight and post an updated recipe if it turns out better.

Excellent! Keep us posted. KBV's PIC was my fav until it clouded my tank...

I think Cap's Vanilla Custard should be a good substitute.

I am STILL vaping this. I love it. Unfortunatly for KBV, I can now make my own hehe... I'm also making a large batch and then I will decant ino smaller 4 bottles. They will be sent to family..... One bottke to Haiti, one to South Africa, one to the UK and one for me in Tokyo. Hey Bishy, guess you never knew your recipe would travel the world like this!

One thing though... My original mix was delicious dripping, so I put it in a carto which I have been vaping on for a week or two (can't remember when I made it). Next I filled up a Stardust, but after about 10 puffs with intervals, poured it back in the bottle and cleaned out the Stardust. Tasted harsh and burnt my throat. I then filled up a different new carto, and once again fine. Not sure why... Any thoughts?

Thanks Bishy :). I will definitely make some today! I'm am still loving your original too. Oh and I wonder if you have any ideas... I have a large bottle of Dekang Mint ejuice and now I'm thinking of trying to 'fix' it to become Mint Ice Cream too lol... What do you think? Any tips?

I'm not one to mess with premade juices. If I don't like it, I sell it. Assuming you have a decent amount of it, you could try adding small amounts of the flavorings in my recipe and test it till it tastes good. In small batches of course. I would personally just sell it and buy more flavoring to make the actual recipe. :)

Hey Bishy. I love KBV's PIC and am so excited to try this out for myself. Since I am brand new to DIY I do have a coupel of questions I'm hoping you can answer for me. When you show a flavoring like 'CA Marshmallow/TPA Whipped Cream' is that a combination of those two flavors, or is it an either/or situation? If it is a combination is it straight 50/50? Similarly, for the '4% CA Peppermint/3% CA Cool Mint' how does one calculate the percentages? Or is that again an either/or situation? but even so, what does the percent mean in terms of the overall recipe? Are you diluting those specific flavors with water or PGA?

Thanks again for sharing this!

One more thing. If I wanted to make this in a pure VG (minus the PG in the flavorings) would I have to add more flavor since I've heard that VG has a tendancy to deliver less flavor?

Due to my location, it's not feasible to sell unloved juice. Anyway... I made the most awesome PIC ever! So glad I tried it.

I used the whole bottle of Dekang Mint as a base, then added the other ingredients as per your recipe as usual - except I decreased the Mint ratio a bit. It was good, but a bit too minty. So I added a bit more of the other ingredients and some Ethyl Vanillin and then a bit more... and WOW, I have now the most incredible Peppermint Ice cream juice!!

Ah, didn't clarify that part. I did 3% CA Marshmallow and 2% TPA Whipped Cream. Since there's space for 5 flavors, I have to combine them into one sometimes. The mints, it's just 4% and 3% respectively, just didn't have room for everything. I'm not diluting anything.

The percentages are a percent of the overall recipe. So if you add them all up, 24% of the bottle would be flavoring. The rest would be your PG/VG/Nic.

As for the VG, some people up the overall by a few percent. I already use a lot of flavor since I have dead taste buds (even after quitting smoking for over a year) and I like a lot of flavor. I'd just try the base recipe I posted and add more flavor as needed. Take notes of how much you add if you plan on making more at a later time.

Good to hear, I made a bigger bottle of PIC today and added a bit of the Vanillin to it as well. :)

Got just about everything needed for this recipe from ecigexpress. Not wanting to have to buy from multiple vendors, I think I had to make one small substitution.

For my first attempt I just measured in drops. The resulting mix was decent, but not great. Still I thought to make it up again and double the recipe, adding a bit more of each ingredient to up the flavor. That was a bad mistake and I should have known better. I left it alone for a few weeks while I vaped up my mistake (mixed with some other juices that at least made it vapable).

Yesterday I broke down and got out the syringe to properly measure out mls instead of drops. I'm glad to say I think I got it. Tried it out and its so nice. Very smooth, creamy vape with a nice minty kick. I tweaked the overall recipe a bit and added some EM, plus I used the 100% VG nic @ 18mg as my base. The flavors are mostly PG based so my resulting joose is about 80/20 VG to PG.

Once again, thanks for this. With some care, its easy to do and the cost savings is quite impressive.

No problem, glad you tweaked it out to work for you. After all, that's the joy in DIY. :)
