O.k. I've recently become a fan of the PT2 (with additional airflow controller.) Found a great place with excellent prices, but something happened to their credit card processor, and I've not been able to make any purchases through that site. Found another site that offered price matching. However, I must not have read the fine print because there were two variations of said PT2, and I apparently chose POORLY. I could have scored ORIGINALS, but nooooooooo, I opted to pricemactch (or the vendor "chose") the CLONES. I'm so peeved.

(When reviewing the site to determine which of the two items I should order, I couldn't tell the difference, except one was higher-priced ) So, note to self, pick the higher-priced item and ask for the match on THAT.... I hate when I'm too honest.

That is all

Hi Dinger

Are you on about buying replacement coils for your PT2 ?

You can save a fortune and get a better vape if you re-build your coils and wick with cotton.

Leelkey, that's a big reason why I've grabbed the PT2. Started building months ago and was upgrading my EVOD tanks.....

Oh well. The "ickies" will be relegated to work (along with the icky airflow bases I got from my B&M which I'm sure are also clones and I paid twice as much!)

:p

Sent from.... ooh look! Something shiny!!!

If you like to re-build have a look at this thread I did about building vertical coils. Amazing vape in my opinion

Mine are the "old" single heads. If I didn't already have about 40 of them laying about, I'd consider grabbing some of the duals to strip and rebuild. I love the BVCs on my Nautiluses (wish I could rebuild THOSE!)

Thx for your input :) Cheers!

You can build the vertical in the old style single coil heads. They are actually easier to do the chimney is easier to get off and you dont need the cotton sticking out the side slits. You can only use a 1.5mm drill bit though because anything bigger won;t go through the bottom pin but it works just fine.

I have a dbox puritank which uses these coils and I do it with them.

Check You Tube Riptripper has but up a rebuild of the aspire BVC so they can be done too
