Black 901 Mini E-Cig.

I received this yesterday from the electric cigarette company UK, and charged the battery for 9 hours, then i went to try it out and 5 minutes later it stopped working, then i charged the other battery and also tried that one out, it worked but the blue tip light didn't come on then all of a sudden i had to put it down because the atomizer got really hot, now i am charging the spare battery i bought to see what the heck is going on, any clues people

it can only be bad batts or bad atomizer,

That sounds suspiciously like a very dry atomizer. Did you pop a new cartridge in?

We have read about a couple atomizers shorting out that way.
Once ina great while, its a bad battery shorting out and staying on.
If both batteries didnt work, i would guess, bad atomizer.

Mine came with a note that said to charge for 12 hours before first use and then 4 hours for every additional charge.

i had the exact same problem. it is knackered mate! dont bother using it, pack it up and send it back for a replacement.

I have one out of my three 901 atomizers that will snap, crackle, pot and go on some demonic glowing red heating cycle. This happened twice, but after it's been blown out and set upside down overnight the problem goes away. I suspect that it happens when I overfill carts and get too much juice pooling in the bottom of the atomizer

the problem is batteries or chargers.. atomizers are simple things.. the odd one might be DOA but thats about all..

jasons RN705 901 type are pretty good.. one dead one out of 100 the last batch we tested..

problems are pretty much always with the battery electronics..
