Black Cherry Cig DELAYS!

I'm very interested in buying a Black Cherry E-cig from Donttouchmybutt.com. After reading and watching many reviews I've decided that I'm ready to purchase this e-cig. But unfortunantly the site has a notice that it is expeiriencing large delays and that all order may take 8 weeks to deliver. Is there a 2 piece e-cig comperable in size, affordability, PCC, and preformance as the Black Cherry? Or is any on willing to part with one that their not using?

I like the PCC also.
Like sweedishfish said, the one you posted looks like a kr808, that PCC in a kr808 is not that common.

The 510 has a similar PCC available, at many more vendors. I CANNOT speek for either seller from personal experiance. mad vapes has a reputation here. I don't remember ever hearing of the other place.
These are both manual batteries (push button to puff)

510 MANUAL battery from mad vapes
510 PCC KIT

Smoke revolution MANUAl batteries here also

Have you read the info on ECF's new front page? Everything you need to know to make an informed purchase. Since you clearly already have a fundamental understanding of what e-cigs are, I suggest starting here: Beginners E-Cig Tutorial.

Skim it of you'd like but read the info at the bottom of the page about manual vs. automatic batteries. As cool as an auto batt sounds to beginners, ambient noise can drain your batteries and leave you vapeless.

Most new converts think they know what they want and realize about $100 later that e-cigs that look like regular cigarettes and puff like regular cigarettes are less satisfying the those with manual buttons and larger batteries.

Just a quick tip from one who's been there. Take it or leave it.

Good luck.

Sound activated? Uh, ok... Anyway - I looked at the review and everything else I could find, and didn't see any mention of compatibility with anything else. When you consider that batteries and carto's have different but definitely finite lifespans, and your first real contact with this thing involves availability issues... I don't know - I think I would take it as a sign.

(Unless it actually is compatible and you wouldn't be stuck if you needed something)

I thought black cherry was the oddball M602C? There are no cig-pack look PCCs for KR808D-1 so it is not KR808D-1

I would not buy it. I enjoy being able to buy stuff from multiple vendors and not be stuck because one vendor is out of stock.

If you are willing to fill blank cartomizers, go to NoSmokeVA.com and search PCC and look at the sets with the PCC and a MANUAL 510. Use the atomizer and cart (or drip tip since you are getting manual batteries) to test juices or vape thicker juices, and Boge standard resistance cartomizers with thinner juices you like. Keep the carto damp and get 4-7 days good use out of each or more.

510 manual is the only ecig that size that I would buy that has a cigarette-pack look PCC

If you do not care about the shape of the PCC, then also look at the KR808D-1 models at Vapor4Life.com and Smokeless Image (Volt) and I recommend manual batteries. These have prefilled cartomizers you can keep damp with juice to get 4-7 days or more use out of. They also have blank cartomizers.

Manual batteries are hard to damage or kill with juice leaks, make it easier to get a good hit, won't turn on accidentally from wind or vibration. Most people here use and recommend manual batteries.

Not all 808-1 are created equal. Some 808s doen't always play well together (some compatability issues arise, most are documented in these Fourums. ie batteries from supplier X don't work with Cartos from suppier Y).
Its a small battery, even though the new 808 s are better, they do have shorter life then the bigger bateries.

I recommend manual batteries with KR808D-1. I find thinner juices work better in the cartos (I use 20% or less VG juices, particularly light colored ones that leave little or no flavoring sediment to clog the carto). For decent battery life, I recommend the standard aka 78mm over the shorty/65mm batteries. The standard makes a 120mm long ecig w/ the carto. All decent minis are thicker than a cigarette (around 9.2mm) but look slimmest in dark colors.

These are real 3.7v ecigs and with the Smokeless Image/Bloogplanet/Halocigs cartos or especially the Vapor4Life WOW cartos can deliver a pretty sharp hit with some flavors and nicotine. For example, some 24mg vapers cannot vape some flavors of vapor4Life WOW cartos is 24mg. Some of those flavors have a sharp-edged hit. I think some of Vapor4Life's flavors are overly flavored, but some I like a lot.

Re blank cartos - difficult to impossible to clean and dry and have work as well as when new. Some people succeed. Many don't bother trying. Only put juices you know you like in cartos. On a manual KR8 you can use a DSE901 standard resistance atomizer and drip tip to test juices (atomizer may arrive with nasty tasting primer on it so * blow out, drip 4 drop son atty, let soak in, vape mostly off without inhaling, repeat from * until it tastes OK)

---
How I fill Vapor4Life KR8 cartos and Boge 510 cartos

Pop out the soft cap with an unbent paperclip in the mouth hole, very careful not to catch stuffing or the wire loop.
Shake and open the eliquid
Hold a bit of tissue on the threaded end hole, tilt the carto, and add 18 drops per ml of capacity into the stuffing (Boges and most KR8 cartos are about 1ml).
Wait 15 seconds or so then see how many more drops the carto stuffing will soak in easily.
Clean up the threaded end, tilt open end down into tissue, puff into threaded end to clear air channel (Boges and the KR8 cartos I use have a defined center air channel and I want to see light through that)
Sop up any loose juice above the stuffing
Cap and let it settle - I lay it on different sides for 15-20 minutes to make sure every bit of stuffing gets damp so I won't singe the carto. if you use thicker juice than me (I use 20% Vg or less) then you may need to wait much longer.

While vaping, if the vapor gets a bit light or a bit dry or the carto is getting hotter than normal, I take the carto off the battery and add eliquid. I sometimes use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece on Boge and KR8 cartos (not to drip into since the juice would head for the central air channel)

The kit you were looking to buy is first off WAY overpriced. Since noone so far can be sure what model it is you may have a problem getting extra/replacement batteries atomizers etc.

The kr808d1 is an awesome starting PV. Most of us (including me) started off thinking we needed an ecig that looks like a regular cigarette. The batteries in the 808 last longer then the joye 510 tank system I started on (depending on how much you vape up to 12 hours). Kr808d-1 starter kit: kr808d-1 cartomizers, kr808d battery and more! Kr808d-1 kit from LiteCigUSA! this kit has auto batteries but manual available on site.

The 510 system has some benefits too. The biggest one for me is that the parts are widely used between different brands. If you decide to upgrade you might get some use out of your cartomizers, atomizers and batteries. I would avoid the tank systems on the smaller batteries. I had less flavor and vapor with them.

I have upgraded from both of these systems to a kgo 1100 mah kit. 45$ and great service here eGo 1100 mAh 2 battery kit
This system is awesome. Batteries last me about 2 days each. great vapor production and stick a dual coil cartomizer on it and you are in vape heaven. I wish I had slowed down enough when i started to just listen and buy a bigger battery system. Would have saved me about 150$

    in a cave, eh?
It looks like a 510 PCC. Since there is just a spring contacting the battery, it can probably charge a bunch of different batteries, as long as they're 65mm.

I'd recommend a KR808D-1 kit, like the aforementioned Smokeless Image Volt. The KR808D-1 XL PCC is nice (Smokeless Image calls it a Mega Charging case, but it's available from lots of sites).

And if you're ok with stepping up to something bigger, i.e. about the size of a Sharpie, a Riva 510, eGo or KGO is a pretty good way to go. You would get much better battery life with one of those kits.
