Did anyone participate? I'm not into crowds in stores but I'm happy with shopping online. This year, almost no budget at all for holiday shopping. I got an email from Build-A-Bear about their Cyber Monday sale and remembered that I had a $10 certificate. I ordered a fluffy dog stuffed animal ($5) with an elf hat and booties for accessories ($6) and just to be different, the sound inside of it says "Happy Halloween!" ($1) when you squeeze it's paw. My total cost with shipping was $8. I had told my daughter no presents this year and she was ok with that. She's 18 so she knows she's not a little kid. Still, I like to give her something so at least this will be a fun little surprise.

I always get a couple of movies for us to watch on Christmas Day. We actually celebrate Channukah since we're Jewish but Christmas is the day off from work so we have a family day for that. I told my daughter that if there were going to be any purchases they would be something that both of us could enjoy like DVD's. Amazon.com had a good deal if you purchased "Up" you could get half off of another Pixar movie. "Up" was the one I really wanted since we both loved it in the theatre. I got that and "Wall-E" for $20 with the discount.

Anyone else get any great deals?

I did buy some briefs for RW. Exciting huh.

Actually, I work on Xmas all year long so I'm pretty well done before the season starts. A few items actually came from Goodwill and the Salvation Army---you can find new stuff there and it's cheap.
I ordered a couple things first of Nov, and just one more thing to buy that I didn't find on sale during the year. It is now and will get Friday and then only stocking stuffers left. Generally do the exciting thing of socks!!!

This year it is just the kids and grandkids. I already have my son's new mini pipe and some extras, can't decide for daughter. The kids already have an I-pod and an I-pod shuffle in my closet. I still need to get a game for the gaming system that was taken in a house break in last month.( Daughter already has that in lay-a-way) So except for daughter and Mike and the one game I am done! Well I need to get a few stocking stuffers from the dollar store. Sometimes those are the most fun to buy and open.

Ditto the online shopping - everyone at work was asking if I was going shopping for Black Friday & I told them that I'd probably end up in jail for slugging someone .. much safer for me to shop online.

Great sites to visit for really good deals are the deal a day sites.

amazon also has a daily deal on their site. I picked up 5 victorinix (?) bladeless pocket tools for a total of $9.95. Great stocking stuffers. Have MOST of my shopping done - just a few more items for the grandbaby & the boyfriend to go .. oh, and my mom's bday gift (21st).
