I have had some RTS VG nic juice for a little over a month now. It has helped me make some disgusting juices and some good ones, including my absolute favorite: strawberry banana. But a few days ago, I made a new batch of Lisa's Peanut Butter Cup, which has always been yummy, even if it's only a sometimes-vape for me. This time, it had a definite taste of black licorice. I can't stand black licorice, but my senses of taste and smell have been changing slowly but constantly since I ditched analogs over 4 months ago, so I paid it no mind. But I just made a batch of my favorite strawberry banana, and it has a strong element of black licorice to it. So I'm left to wonder what is causing it.
There are 3 constants between the 2 batches. My CVS VG, PG from the tractor supply store, and the RTS nic juice. I'm very low on funds for the next few months, and I'm not an atty guy, so I hate to waste cartos on process of elimination.
So in hopes of someone with similar taste buds, this is my question: Has anyone found the "off" taste of nicotine juice to be more like black licorice than peppery? Long shot, I know, but for the sake of my ailing checkbook, I figured it couldn't hurt to check with some experienced DIYers. Thanks for any input/insight you might have for me.
