black wire in cartomizer

im using a 808 cartomizer, on the box it said its dekang. they are good quality but they have some weird wire i can see in it. i tried to remove it with no success and i think i messed up the cartomizer because it tasted burnt. anyone have experience with these?

I have seen the wire you saw as well though I use 510 cartomizers. I have no idea what the purpose of that wire is. Someone will come along that might know about it and teach us both about it.

All Cartomizers have wires. Sometimes you can see them, sometimes not. I would recommend not pulling on them. I would say it's broken now.. Grab another and vape on..

The wire is what heats the juice to produce vapor.....Dekang is the maker of the juice in your carto.....messing with the wire will cause issues....

yeah just tossed it out and opened another, no biggie picked up some blanks btw, i dont use alot of chinese liquids

That is the ground wire for the coil. If you break that wire, your carto is dead.

Everyone should take one apart once just to see how it all works. Since that one is dead, might as well take a look. 808 cartos are kind of a pain to get apart though.

That wire goes from the 'top' of the coil(s) to the carto screw-in base. Don't mess with it!
