Blank XL carto issues

That's great news Imagine. I'll be looking forward to getting some of the stainless.
I wonder if there was something in the 'black wrapping' manufacturing process that may have contributed to the funky black ones.
the black are the same ones.. but if you have issues with them just let CS know.

I have no experience with the XL cartos personally, but I would bet that the "Squirrel Twirl" could solve some of the issues that are being reported.
I can't find the post where TK spoke about his carto filling method, but he mentions a step in which you put the carto, atomizer-side down, in the finger of a rubber glove and give it quick a twirl. The force pulls the liquid to the bottom of the carto filling, making it possible to top it off and have a carto that's ready to go. I have used this method ever since I read about it and I always have success with it.

I seem to be having some carto issues as well. I got the standard and XL (both black) in last week. There is some weird things happening with the XLs. They seem very finicky. Ya fill them up because they taste like they're burnt but then they start leaking. I've tried the syringe method, condom, just putting a little drop in at a time, and it drips. However, once I got the first one broken in, it seems to be doing a lot better. Strangely, I seem to be having more issues with the standard size than the XLs, though one of them is slowly coming along. I'm only on #2 of the XL and #3 of the standard though so it could just be the ones I picked out.
Glad to hear that SI is on top of it, and that the stainless ones are new.
I will say that mine work a lot better as long as I use certain e-liquids. I've got some samples from some really strongly recommended suppliers on here but these cartomizers seem to hate them. I haven't asked them why, perhaps they have their reasons. I'm going to save the rest of samples to try with an atty/tank/clearo because I just don't think it's possible that all these highly recommended juices taste like ..... The cartos seem to work with Hoosier E-Cig Supply (Coffee and Keoke) and they work really well with Vermillion River (Vanilla Premium, mostly.) I like the HECS liquid and I'm in love with the VR Vanilla Premium, but ended up going through an entire 30ml bottle that I just got this past Friday because nothing else would work.

ETA: Gah, sorry one more thing I meant to add: SI graciously sent me 4 prefilled cartos when I asked for samples with my first order. I liked them, but they really saved me when I ran out of blanks. After they were smoked out, I didn't wash them (still trying to figure out if I'm capable of doing that without messing up/burning down the house/poisoning my family by not marking the pan I use to boil them) filled them up with similar liquid and they lasted forever and worked extremely well, with all the vendor's juices I had at that time.

Ive let the smokeless image know about my XL carto issues and they are replacing them with new ones.
