depends on the battery, On my be-112 from best ecig, which is the unit that i am most comfortable with, one cart lasts 24 hours the way I smoke, and the battery usually lasts maybe 12 but i have two. My wife's Be 103 the battery usually lasts about 3 hours, and the cart only holds enough Vape for about 3 cigarettes
I use the Joye 510 mega batteries- the long ones- and they last me from 2-3 hours. The short Joye 510's last me 1-1.5 hrs. Hence why I am going to order a Riva when they are back in stock at LF 
I love my 510 but am very annoyed with the constant battery changes.

All my batteries Joye 510, joye 510 mega, and Egos are doing just fine and I've been vaping for 3 months. Haven't lost one yet. Charge life depends upon the battery itself. 510's usually last between 1-2 hours. 510 megas usually last between 3-4 hours. Ego's 6 or more hours. All those times vary greatly depending upon how much vaping I'm doing in that time frame. Example being I started using my Ego battery(650 mah) this morning at about 8 am and its still working just fine 9 hours later but I was at work all day and only vaped occasionally. So my 6 hours timeframe is based upon being home and vaping often.
I have the same battery types as grandmato5 and the time frame seems about right for all of those. I have 2 eGo 900mAh's and each one will last me about 2 days on a standard Mega atty with moderate vaping.
It depends on exactly which kind of batteries you are using.
We can give you better information for comparison if you tell us what kind you have.
Oh gee... I thought this thread was going to be about Christmas Lights! <blink> <blink> I'll bet we can string all those "dead" blinky 510 batteries on PIF together in some sort of string and wrap it around a tree............

I tested my batts actually. from my joye510 manual batt. I got 79 (3-5 sec. puffs). It only lasted 36 min. On average, it'll last 1.5 hours before I need to put it in the pcc (you GOT to own one if you use regular size batts), I can puff all day switching batteries every two hours.
My 5v passthrough still hasn't run out of juice. It's been maybe a week that I've had it. 
I get about 12 hours on my 900mAh eGo batts, about 3 hours on my 280mAh 510 batt, and maybe 2 hours on the regular 180mAh 510 batts, but those are usually only ever used at work. I put a PCC that I won through the test and hard vaping a 180mAh 510 batt gives me about 20 minutes, if I'm doing a lot of typing, LOL.
