I have not read the whole thread

Bloog and Volt are identical and KR808D-1 threaded - the most popular 2 -piece threading, and also identical is Halocigs G6. Vapor4Life is a custom version of the original manufacturer style of KR808D-1 (custom 10-13 second cutoff added vs 5 seconds for the others). All are the strongest slim ecig you can get. I recommend 78mm aka standard manuals. Manuals are harder to damage or kill with juice leaks and make it easier to get a good hit. On a manual use a DSE901 std resistance atomizer and drip tip to test juice (don't dirty cartos to test juices). And these can also use all of the 2.5 to 3 ohm blank styles of KR808D-1 cartomizers sold at multibrand vendors.

Greensmoke is incompatible (KR808D-2 aka E9) though anyone who owns one can get adpaters at LeCid.com (they call the threading D2)

I use mine untill the start having a burnt taste to them the trick is to keep them wet and not to chain vape giving the carto time to wick in between draws now I use my cartos in tanks and they last about a week to 10 days probably running about 30 to 40 ml of juice through them and that's a rough guess, I've yet to kill an 808 carto but I don't use my volt on a daily basis

i have always used cartos ( +8 months) and i use couple every week. i go through roughly 4-5ml of liquid in a day.

so a pack of 5 cartos will last me about 3 weeks.

a cartos longevity is dependent on the juice you use, lighter color liquids typically makes the carto last longer.

also sweet liquids shortens the carto life somewhat. (the sugar "carmelizes" around the heating coil).

even if you changed a carto every 3 days, you are spending 40cents a day in cartos.

I really wish I could just buy one of each. lol

Although, I really like the kits that come with the passthrough (is that what it's called?) I'm glued to the comp a good part of the day for school, and that would be ideal. lol
Passthroughs are handy when you're chillin' at the PC for awhile.

I had the same questions you have, and went with the Volt myself, my reason was i saw alot of people say alot of good things about their customer service, which is important to me. The only thing i regret doing (since i was new i didnt wanna go balls to the wall in case i didn't like them) was buy a basic kit, if i had a chance to go back and do it again i would have ordered the one with the passthrough and PCC cuz now i want them and have to buy them seperate and it's gonna cost more in the long run =/

Ya, i hear you, i don't have the PCC and i am getting by though, i went with 2 of the 78mm manual batteries when i ordered mine, they last for quite awhile, i was a 2 pack a day smoker and they get me by when one dies its on the charger right away and its done charging long before my other one runs out, like yourself im at the computer alot during the day so i think i will likely just get a passthrough and i should be fairly well setup, just keep the 2 batteries charged for when i got out for a day or something, the only place i could see myself really wanting a PCC is if i go backpack camping way off the beaten path but it is winter now and i have some time to solve that problem :) I have a usb plug in thing already for my car so i can charge on the go that way if i need to. But still if i had to do it again like i said id just get it all at once in a kit so its cheaper cuz i know eventually, im going to buy it all anyway lol.
