Bloog or Pigcig??

Hey everyone,
I hope im posting this in the right section. I started on the kr808d-1 starter kit from vapor 4 life, and it has been a great unit, but i am looking to try some new batteries. I cant decide on what to try. Either the PigCig or the Bloog batteries, either from bloog or smokeless image. I am leaning more towards the PigCig along with lecigs mega carts. What do you guys think? is it a good move after 1.5months on the V4L unit?

Or do you guys recommend something else?

Bloog seems like a lateral move from V4L, imo. I would go PigCig.

I really liked the Bloog cartos, but there are many vendors selling the same thing supposedly. Maybe shop around some. Never tried the pigcig, but I have an IGO and am happy with it . Really like the big carto that comes with it as well.

Look at that IGO at NHaler,those look like some big cartos and longer batt life.Im sticking with V4L though.I cant beat the premiums on a 5v mod.Im lovin it.

I went iGo and haven't regretted it. It is also a higher rated mah batt than the pigcig. I have heard good things about the pigcig but the mah on iGo was the deciding factor for me.

Oh the cartos are a bit fussy about thick juices on the iGo. Not a problem for me, but could be for some.

I've noticed this to a degree. I know someone else that has one on ECF didn't have much luck with them. It almost seems like it's a problem carto imo, and not the juice as I've tried many in the 8 Igo carto's that I have used. Out of 8, I'd say 2 haven't held juice like they should after 4 or 5 refills. But they still worked. I've been meaning to try to clean them up, but hav not had a chance.

It depends on what you're looking for. I have the Bloog & the PigCig. I mostly use the Bloogs & their clones because I like the small size. If you don't mind something bigger, and want a longer battery life, the PigCig or Igo would be a good idea.

I agree with beachpuff in that it really depends on what you want. I started with V4L too and still use them but the first time I was ready for something different, it was because I wanted longer battery life, so I went with the Elegant Easy XXL 1300mah. The second time, I wanted more power and went with the GLV2. Most recently, I wanted a longer lasting, reliable carto, so I chose the Echo Bloog batts will give you slightly more battery time, but not much. Internal switch is very reliable and requires no primer puff to activate. It has regulated voltage of 3.6, whereas V4L are 4.2 off charger before lowering to their nominal 3.7V. PigCig is also lower overall voltage but battery will last you almost twice as long as a V4L XL. They have a fairly short cutoff, though. I've used the PigCig- no complaints. The 'cone' helps to protect the CE2s if you go that route.
For me, the dual coils are outrageous- you would need a 901 batt to 510 carto adapter.

One word of caution: PigCig batteries are really 901s. Any 808D1 carto will work on them, BUT- the PigCig cartos will not work on an 808 batt!!

"moving on" or "upgrading" is a bad habit. you've already got $$ invested....why not buy a few more 808's so you've got some variety? that way you can also keep using what you've got in addition to the new ones instead of constantly moving on.

i've seen users on this forum "move on" from a 510 to an 808 to a Riva to an eGo....next to an eGo-T and now a Go-Go. their signature says they have been "vaping since 4/1/11" LOL! (thats well over $500 invested)

why not give what you've got a chance?

I agree with phish which is why I went iGo for the battery life. Today I carried two iGo batts. One with a big carto. One with v4l cartos to switch flavors regularly. Thow an ego cone over the carto for a finished look and your good to go. I still use my v4l xl's all the time. I am puffing on a purple diamond right now. By "keeping it in the kr8 family I feel like I expanded my options and not like I started over. No adapters required. . Ymmv.

I completely agree. Blood is not the standard 808 other vendors carry. The MaxxFusion line is phenomenal. I went from 808 to 510 to EGO, now at Bloog MaxxFusion - this is it for me, finally happy.

Id go Bloog/volt/nhaler for the regulated batts, and get the 808 threaded igo or pigcig, for a big backup device should you ever get caught out somewhere, without power... The mftype cartos make the voltage on a reg batt a bit to high. Ive started not to charger them fully, or they taste bad the forst ten min of vaping... But keep in mind, the mf batts need those good cartos.. Theyre crap with the premiums( boge type, vertical coil) But with all the vendors keeping the good cartos, that shouldnt be a prob.

For what it's worth, I have both an Elegant Easy and a PigCig. I first bought the elegant partly because I wanted the 900mah Pigcig and it was not then in stock. Had to do MAJOR sanding on the threads to get anything to fit. Was ready to give up and send it back but, (after some difficulty) I finally got a response from CigEasy's customer service and he said sand like hell on it and if you can't get it to work send it back for a replacement. That's what I did and now it works.

Meanwhile, the 900mah pigcig came in stock so I ordered one. On this one, the threading/battery pole was so out of spec (too loose) I could get maybe 1 in 10 cartos to even vape. I contacted Lecigs CS and they instantly sent another battery with pre-paid packaging to return the original one. Excellent CS and night and day difference compared to Cigeasy.

As to the devices themselves, here are my thoughts...The elegant is purported to be slightly lower voltage than a regular KR8 and my experience would tend to back that up. It vapes cooler with less TH, etc. The Pig is closer to a regualr KR8 except that it doesn't start high and tail off. It maintains consistent voltage (3.7ish?) throughout. Given all that, I tend to prefer the Pig. I should say too that I may be spoiled by my pass-through which kicks .... over everything else.

As to carto's, Michelle is your expert there although I can say the Volts are nice horizontal coil and work well with all my batteries. I've come to the conclusion that VL4's are hit or miss and I'm done with them.

Finally, a little venting on all this stuff. I find it extremely annoying that manufacturing tolerances are so lax in terms of threading, voltage and overall quality. While some say vive la difference, I say bunk. I think it forces us consumers to buy a bunch of crap trying to mix and match it together until we find something that actually performs. It's a waste of time and money and is probably the result of having a bunch of chinese manufacturers who produce cheap stuff with little QC and vast variance to specs.

I vote for igo from nhaler. Best customer service. Love the draw looks and lot less filling cleaning and recharging of batteries. It's been the perfect move up for me.

Netizen (sir or Ms.?) it all depends on what you're looking for... Longer batt life, go with pigcig or igo... If you want a regulated batt at 3.6v go with the bloog type batts.... If you want higher voltage output longer then v4l's new king diamond and stealth line are for you. The only batts that put out higher voltage are mods....
