Just wanted to let everyone know I placed a Bloog order late yesterday afternoon,and received a shipping invoice WITH tracking numbers this morning!

I think it sounded like they were working on the system,maybe that is a change that has been implemented,have you called CS?

Order placed today at roughly 3:25 CST. Received email 12 minutes later...
"We are pleased to inform you that your order from Bloog / Sportline has now been shipped via USPS."

When I check tracking today it still shows

as stated in another post, its a delivery confirmation number not an actual tracking number also the USPS website updates slowly
That's correct, it's not a tracking number, and we can't get any more info about it than you can.

Good for you Videoequus, but USPS doesn't guarantee to provide real tracking info. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't, the only thing USPS guarantees to provide with its "tracking" is the final delivery confirmation.

So it was kind of silly for someone to say thats not a tracking number thats a shipping confirmation number. When I paste it into the spot for a tracking number it in fact is a tracking number. Yes I know their tracking can be unpredictable,and it usually takes the first 12 to 24 hrs to start showing in the system. I am quite familiar with USPS shipping confirmation and tracking system.
I put the original post up,because there were so many posts about people worrying about their shipping,to show that Bloog HAD sent an invoice quickly AND provided a tracking number..
This is such an odd response really,to a post that was meant to point out the improvement in the shipping process..
I assumed the delay in it showing in the system was because of the weather,and had intended to post the shipments progress in the next few days.

Sorry, I thought you were insisting that it actually IS a tracking number, and I just didn't want to leave anyone with the impression that it is. USPS calls it that, but officially, straight from their mouths, it is just a delivery confirmation number, and they do not guarantee accurate tracking data. Our e-mails refer to it as a tracking number because that's what they call it on their website and we don't want people wasting time looking for the delivery confirmation entry field instead of the tracking number entry field, and because we use the same automatic e-mail form regardless of which shipper it is.
