(pasted email between HappyVaper and I. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue with these... or maybe I'm just doing something wrong.)

Here's what I just bought: Canadian E-cigarette Bloog Personal Charging Case (PCC)
Here's what i'm used to: Canadian E-cigarette Bloog MaxxFusion Mini-PCC (Personal Charging Case)

One question about the Bloog Mini PCC. Compared to the old plastic PCC included in the kit this one seems to charge very differently. I've played with it over the weekend to make sure I'm not just crazy.

The old PCC seems to charge the batt a *LOT* more than the new one. The new PCC will automatically start charging the battery (not giving me a green light) which is fine, but it doesn't fill it all the way up. I compared the new/old PCC side by side after what i thought would be a full charge. The old PCC's batt produces a thicker cloud and lasts 4-5hrs through my regular use and the new PCC's only lasts about an hour.

Here's where it gets weird... I'll get a normal, full charge from the new PCC if its plugged in via usb the whole time. Which is OK i guess, but defeats the purpose of having the onboard charging battery.

I thought (much like the old PCC) I could manually initiate a charge by holding down the button, that doesnt seem to work. press/holding the button only brings up a red light which eventually goes out after a few seconds. Un/re screwing the battery sometimes will start the charge cycle but it never seems to get all the way charged.

Sounds to me like this second PCC you bought has the same issue as the older Volt large charging case (the one with two slots), which is that is wasn't putting out enough amperage to fully charge the battery. SteelJan had a video on this issue with that charger, and I'd be willing to bet the same problem is going on with the one you just bought.

I don't have a bloog but just from looking at these two units, it appears that the 'new' one you purchased is the 'standard' charging case, while the 'old' one was the MaxFusion case...the latest and most up to date.

Unfortunately the more expensive maxxfusion case is made of ....ty plastic with that even ....tier chinese psudo-rubber coating that peels off. This one i just bought has more of a classic cigarette tin look/feel to it.

The old charger u have is actually the newer model pcc and the new charger you bought is the old model. the rubber film thing that peels off is just a protective barrier u that your supposed to remove i think, its what they use on cellphones and anything else with screen that can be scratched easily to protect it during shipping. There supposed to be a newer sport version of it that is out that is made out of aluminium if you prefer the metallic feel.
