Hello All,
I apologize in advance but am trying to find info on BLU product and alternate ecig product.
I have had BLU for a while now and have tried out the new PLUS tank. I

A quote in another thread by DawnBella stated:
{ as I use blanks for the Blu kit sold by another company most of the time when I decide to use the kit}
Does anyone have a link as to refillable blanks that screw onto the BLU batteries and how long do they last.

Even though I like BLU ease and size for what i need, are there other equal ecigs that are easier to fill?

THANKS !
Don

The blu batteries has a standard 510 connection. Therefore any cartomizers or clearomizers with a 510 connection will work (except for the ones like the Nautilus where the incoming air flow is through the side of the bottom of the tank (air flow control) rather than through the 510 connection.

I stopped using the blu's because I got tired of paying $15 for 3 of the prefilled blu plus tanks and going through two of them a day. I can still use the blu batteries though because I have a number of Kanger T4 clearomizers. I also have a couple of ProTank 2 Minis and a ProTank 3 and they will all fire using the blu batteries.

WELCOME ABOARD!!
Awesome to see you've found this place.
So a couple?? of things:
  1. You've found something you maybe like- BLU. Maybe it'll work to your end goal, maybe not...but the good folks here are the ones to ask for help;
  2. WHen I first started lurking around ECF (may7be 2009-2010- mainly a British group_) I was using a similar predecessor/ something very similar to Blu, and they were mailing me all the supplies. It was working for me to "cut back" and substitute for some analog tobacco each day. Was not cheap, was not easy (if I ran out of things).
  3. What I really wanted (for me) was to find something that completely satisfied my tobacco cravings, 100% of the time, with 0% down time. That meant I couldnt run out of cartridges, have dead batteries, or be unable to find my ecig , etc... So I started "noodling around" here.
  4. I started looking for others with the same gear as me...just like the same brand of tobacco? I stumbled across the posts, some you tube links, and what's now become the "library". I looked and learned.
  5. I asked anything. Eventually I lost my passwords, etc...back to analog (tobacco packs)and back here again.
  6. I decided to be a girl scout and always be prepared. I learned how I could afford-ably get gear that was more satisfying (for me), and I found a devoted Brick and Mortar vendor to talk on the phone, send gear overnight, teach me more.
  7. BINGO!!! Once I took the perfect hit from the right vape set up- I knew tobacco was ancient history! Please excuse the proselytizing if it seems that, everyone has what works for their own goal. literally after decades of quitting, I was 100% done with analog tobacco and I knew it. Its ore than 2 or 2 1/2 years ago? I knew I'd gone overboard too...ecigs everywhere..chords to recharge/pass through, juices, attys, batts, (I'd learned the terminology) ....I dont think I'd spent $100 though. For me, I raised the nicotine strength temporarily to get over the psychology of nicotine withdrawal. That part for me was maybe 2 weeks and I never had it so easy, then cut back on mg/nicotine. I have co workers that are still cutting back with the blu style ecigs. Theyre completely content I hope, all that matters.
  8. I think its so important to respect each others individual rights and choices I cant say. I devote time monthly to the political battles we vape ppl face.
SO talk about digress?? ALL I started to say was in my world "big Tobacco" is my enemy. They kept me hooked for decades. They Ran Out to buy the "blu" company when ecigs looked as if here to stay. Now a year ago, in a 27 BILLION dollar sale, the mix up over who has the american "Blu" who has the U.K. "Blu" is all muddy. That has nothing to do with "if" the product is perfect enough for you. Big Tobaccy owns the Blu ecig products, an controls the Manufacturing. That scares the bejesus out of me- look what they put into our original "herbal" plant adopted from American Indian culture as a smokable Leaf.

I digress because there are alternate products not funded by big tobacco, and this is the place to learn about them.

just type in...looking for alternate to "" """ ......
or just noodle around here some evening.

Again for me....I "quit" with an "ego" style pass thru battery and a EVOD BCC type top filled with a substitute liquid for "American Spirit" menthol full flavor only more "icey-menthol".. I kept 2 ecigs full and ready.

Im going to finally shut up...and if youre truly in "S.D"...you're thousands of miles away,I can get a running start before you catch up with the weapon of choice for being such a self righteous preaching jerk. Youve got patience if you came this far.

because...in fact I dont know the specific answer to help you find the part you need. I just hate villainous Big Tobbacky.... Im legitimately frightened about what they could be putting into the "Blu" products.

try your choice for top filling cartomizers....I had great luck with the EVOD BCC for 510 battery connections

I always assumed Blu "pro/plus" used Kanger EVOD type clearomisers.

If so, there is no reason for anybody to buy Blu, really.

Got to say, I admire anyone who seeks an alternative to Blu, as Blu are actively seeking all e-cigarettes to be banned to 72,000,000 European people, so we all have to use their alternative government approved products from 2016.

If standard Kanger clearomisers don't fit your Blu, then throw your Blu in the bin and buy a $15 battery from an e-cig company, not a tobacco company.

.. oh and spread the word.. :)

Blu just by association has the absence of any trust in my book.
I "admire" anyone that is seeking an e cig option, and who is to say how many choices may be available in a given area?
Blu (like all Big T) has great distribution.
The encouragement I offer here is - find vendors online / through here that will offer choices.
Through ECF a plethora of options await- including all organic; all VG; all budget; sub Ohm; pipes; much more.
Spread the word
Cheers
