Blu Cig threads keep getting closed for getting "off topic" they start out as somone who ordered one asking question, or somone who recieved one giving a review, shortly after the first three of four posts someone (usually one of the older members of the forum) comes in and calls out the thread a spam, usually basing this info on new members with low post counts posting about blu in the thread. let me be clear here. most of these posts being called out as spam are usually posts to the effect of "i ordered mine a week about and it still hasnt shipped, how long did it take you to get yours?"
it seems to me that this is bad publicity for blu why would it be spam?
the only real spam is the poster juming in the middle of everyones posts and calling it as spam. causing the post to get off topic and out of hand. cuz now the posters want to defend themselves as non spammers. but lo and behold the thread is now closed.
seems to me that its just as likley that these new posters are spammers sent from some blu advertising campaign as it is likley that the posters calling them out for spamming are from some of the older distributors here on this site who are not happy with blu stealing alot of the new enthusiam.
as far as the new posters with minimal post counts showing up in large numbers and asking questions about blu (causing mass paranoia) is concerned its simple.
a) recent growth in coverage of e-cigs on news channels, news papers, and even magazines (rolling stones is where i was first informed).
b) the effectivness of blu's advertising campain (no including accusations of spam posting) (there banners are on every other site i go to(used to be on here))
c) the newness of the company blucigs and adversly the skepticism and fear whats unknown.
d) the elitism attitudes of alot of the "veteran vaporers" i.e. ppl used to come and ask us questions about what was good and what was not before ordering from a tried and tested company, and since these new posters arent doing that they must be wrong and/or liars.
moderators before you close this post as im sure alot of posts involving heated opinions will follow even thou i will ask for non, please consider that the threads you keep having to close are only off topic b/c of the above mentioned ppl spamming our threads with accusations of us spamming. if you would take some kind of action against the ironic spammers then perhaps we could avoid this problem in the future. I guarantee that if you check all the blu related threads that were closed the turning point will be an accusation of spam.
as a side note i would like to say that the post about blu were gaining this forum big points on google searchs for ppl looking for blu information which may be interesting to anyone generating revenue off of this site, as well as to any distributors who rely heavily on this site for sales.
just because they come here looking for blu information dosent mean that they wont see dissapointing return times and start searching around for another vaporizer.
anywho this post is long enough already. anyone reading this pleasse do not post. any response to this be it agreed or disagreed will only result in negative feedback. so pls for the sake of clearing up alot of confusion about whats going on just let this one be.
ps again to the moderators, if this is in the wrong place then please move it instead of deleting it. if you want i dont mind you cropping it up and making it a sticky to stop alot of future confusion and frustration.
