Where did you say you ordered yours at?

eSmokerOnline

There's a new coupon code for September, too. "Esmoker September" gets you 10% off at checkout and free priority shipping for orders over $50.

Review it base it on what you think. Does it produce a nice vapor for you, Throat hit, How it feels (physically) ease of use, things of that nature. Your not exactly blind you have analogs to compare it to :D
You got the regular 510 kit or an Ego?

True! And I grabbed the regular 510 kit. I wanted something as close to a cigarette as possible for this first one. Plus I always smoked 100s and its about the same size.

Even if your using a liquid with Vg in it? I don't know I mean the vapor with a 510 can be quite substantial. I guess it wouldn't be impossible if you took short tokes.

Yeah, even VG (which I don't like at all). It's easier with PG, but do-able with VG.

Stealth-vaping 101:

Short draw.... inhale just enough to suck it into your lungs. Wait 3 seconds. Inhale again, enough to fill your lungs. Wait again 3 seconds. Exhale.... and there's nothing.

If the fascist anti-smoker a-holes didn't see it, and didn't smell it, it didn't happen!

Everyone has their own opinions, I think when it comes to PVs Different types are for different things. Some people have one PV and it is their end all be all but others seems to have a few of each kind and used different ones for different situations. To say it is crap rather than just say that is how you feel sounds like you are just jaded and not having any objectivity at all. Lots of people got introduced to vaping because of Blu and if it serves no purpose other than that I think it's a great product because to be honest we need more people joining our community. I'll go as far as saying that I don't even think it's a great PV but it serves a good purpose. I think if you play around with it and are creative it really does fit a niche for some people in their everyday vaping repertoire.

To bash a product that many new users have brought or still waiting for ( you know the kind that are in the newbie forum like this one) is not productive. There are pros and cons for this product, even if you believe there are more cons this product isn't broken it works it just can't give half PAD or higher what they really need most of the time.

For every person who started vaping because of Blu, 2 have gone back to analogs (not a fact, I haven't conducted a study or anything). I will say it again. Blu is a crappy product. If that is indeed what you are looking to spend your money on, than you will be very satisfied. I do not retract my statement (any of them). I feel it should be quite clear that anything I have said is clearly an opinion based on what I have experienced from owning Blu. Isn't that what an opinion should be based on? I swear, too many people get their panties in a bunch when someone comes on here and tells it like it is, and doesn't bother with the tip toeing around and diplomacy.

My point is simply this. If you were going to introduce someone to a new experience, would you do it by showing them the crappy case scenario that experience has to offer? It's like showing someone the internet for the first time with dial up. I'm not saying every noob should go out and buy a HV device or anything close to it. But don't buy a device that has been kept alive because of lack of consumer knowledge and advertising. How many people started with Blu and enjoyed it so much, they never bought another PV?
How many said "I need a better PV than this?" I hope I'm making my point.

I started out with a blu kit as well. Initially, I was pleased with the kit as a whole. The PCC is actually pretty good, but unfortunately very necessary. I used the blu kit for about a week until I tried an ego in the mall. Suddenly, I knew what I had been missing. As soon as I could, I ordered an ego kit from freedomsmokeusa and I havent looked back.

Oh, about the inhale. How should I hit a 510? I've heard long, slow, two step inhales is the way to go. Which wouldn't be a big switch for me because that's how I smoke analogs.

By the way, I just wanna say thank you guys a ton for all this help. You guys are awesome and I hope to stick around and become a contributing member of your wonderful community you have here :D

With a manual batt, I like to hit the button for a second before I start to draw, draw for two or three secs then release button and continue to draw another sec or two. If I don't do the last part I often see vapor rising from the mouthpiece and feel like I wasted perfectly good vapor hehe.

With an auto youll want to do long draws (6-8 secs ) because itll take a fraction of a second before the auto batt kicks in and starts to produce vapor.

Also, and its my opinion that this is important, I used to draw on analogs fairly hard. You don't want to do that on a manual battery. The manual is already doing all the work so all you need to do is gently draw the vapor into your mouth/lungs. For me, if I hard draw, I end up with juice in my mouth. While I need to draw harder on an auto batt, I would still end up with a juicy hit if I drew too hard.

either way you can inhale direct to lungs, but I think youll find that easier with the manual battery, though personally I think I get more flavor from my juices with a mouth to lung inhale. ( if you want to really enjoy a good juice, a slow nose exhale really seems to bring out some flavors )

hope that helps

I ordered the blu kit initially, and used it for about a week. The included carts suck, but if you refill them with a better juice (ie not Johnson Creek as they add water to their juices) the blu is useable, but the PCC is an absolute necessity due to the short battery life. Then I tried an eGo in the mall, and couldn't believe the difference. I ordered one ASAP (Who seriously pays mall prices?!?!) and have been please as punch with it. I'm waiting for a low resistance atty that I ordered, and looking into passthrough's and I also just discovered that blu atty's will fit the eGo battery and produce nice plumes with it.

The Blu battery will fit onto 510 attys as well. I gave it a try a few times. Its not bad but Ive found I prefer manual batteries to auto, something that has taken me by complete surprise. When I first looked into vaping I thought pushing a button would be too unlike an analog. How wrong I was. hehe.

Yeah, I was originally pretty hesitant about cancelling my blu for a 510 because I didn't like the idea of the manual battery. Seemed too far from analogs for me. But after seeing some videos and reading more, the manuals sound amazing.

Trust me, once you decide you get a great device, you won't want it to feel like an analog.

I still haven't gotten the email confirming that my order shipped from eSmokerOnline :(

I ordered it on Friday, all orders are supposed to ship in 24 hours. Meh.

EDIT: Wow, their customer service is awesome. Emailed them about it and got an answer in a few minutes. Blucig should take notes :)

Here, there, everywhere!
I ordered the Blu on 09-20-10 and got shipping notification on 09-21-10 but to this day when I put the tracking number in USPS tracking it just shows it is scheduled but not received to ship. I also am worried that I should not have ordered it but have decided that it would be easier to use at work than the 510 I ordered. Haven't got either yet - can't wait. I am currently just using a Smoke51 trio I got at a convenient store and I can't wait to get one that is (I am guessing) better than it. Can't wait to try dripping.

OK so I got them today 09-27-10 - not bad considering they shipped on 09-21 - Now hopefully I like them:)

OK so don't like the flavor of the classic tobacco or the magnificant menthol. Sending kit back!

It took 4 days for my shipping info to update after I ordered from Blu. I'm expecting it in the mail tomorrow. (ETA: I ordered 9/17)

I believe that aside from products being out of stock (which they SHOULD list online), the slow shipping is due to them using a 3rd party for shipping. Instead of just giving packages directly to the post office or having them picked up from their warehouse, they use another company to pick them up and deliver them to the post office. So it takes twice as long to get your stuff. (It's a lot like FedEx Smart Post. Items ship out via FedEx, but instead of delivering them to your house, they get delivered to your local post office, which then sorts and reprocesses your mail and ships it to you. Takes twice as long to get to you!)

I also ordered a Joye 510 PCC kit and passthrough from cignot.com, shipping for them is amazing. It shipped same day, and should arrive on Tuesday. (I ordered early friday morning.)

As for juice- you should look into making your own. It's got to be cheaper, and you get to control everything that goes into it. :)
