Vanilla Custard (CAP)	3.0ml	60 Drops	10%
Acetyl Pyrazine 5% (TFA)	0.3ml	6 Drops	1%
Super Sweet (CAP)	0.6ml	12 Drops	2%

Note: This using V2 of CAP's Vanilla Custard (DIACETYL,Acetoin,Acetyl Prop FREE)


As usual adjust to taste... this has a very pronounced Blueberry that continues to get richer every day (2 days steeping). It's vapable out of the mix with mild flavor. This was blended then bottled and in the UC for 4 30min cycles then in the humidor. I'm very pleased with this one and something I don't mind sharing!

Except, the capella super sweet... can the TFA concentrated sweetener be used instead?

This sounds really delicious, I may try it today! You say it's vapable right away, with mild flavor? Cool! I don't have one of those fancy steeping machines; how long do you think for regular steeping, for best flavor? I could let it sit in some hot water thru the afternoon, if that would make it quicker?

I decided to wait to do this, because I ordered some unflavored WTA today, and want to add some of that. Also, I realized that the recipe calls for Capella Blueberry instead of TFA Blueberry Extra -- does it matter? Blueberry Extra and Blueberry Candy are what I have. And still would like to know if the TFA concentrated sweetener is fine to use instead of Capella super sweet.

A warm water bath will certainly help. 2-3 days the custard starts to step out and after a week it really tastes good. But like I said taste is subjective so do a test vape and see where it works for you.

That's cool. I tested it right after mixing, and it wasn't bad, but really light-tasting. After the hours in hot water, I tried it again, and it actually seemed a bit harsh on my throat, so I put it into the cabinet to sit for a while.

I ordered some new flavors Friday, including some other blueberry flavors, both Capella's and FW's, to see how they compare to TFA's Blueberry Extra. I'll keep playing with the recipe, using some of the other blueberry flavors, and other variations. I'm actually trying to find a recipe that gives a taste similar to "blueberry muffin" and this one seemed very close, especially with that tiny bit of AP in it -- I also have Capella "Cake Batter" and might try a variation of this recipe using a tiny bit of that too -- maybe a drop, it's a really strong flavor. The blueberry muffins I'm most fond of have a streusel topping, and for a while I wasn't sure what streusel even *IS* but I recently learned it's made with brown sugar, so I ordered that flavor too; a bit of it might help along the likeness to a blueberry muffin flavor.

I avoid AP like the Plague! All I ever get from it is a Soggy Bread Taste. I do find most recipes that include it are fine with the deletion.

OP Thanks again and I like the Flip to more BB Candy even better. Mixed this one several times already.

Now to find a way to make the Strawberry Custard work right.

I haven't done any further experimenting just yet; was getting over a cold so I wanted to make sure my sense of taste/smell was working properly before I did anymore testing. I've had an idea for how I might get this recipe more to the "baked goods" kind of taste I'm after, for blueberry muffin; I have 1) acetyl pyrazine, 2) capella's cake batter flavor, and 3) capella's graham cracker v2 (no diketones); I thought that one drop of each, or maybe one drop each of the AP and cake batter with 2 drops of the graham cracker, might give me a nice "muffin" sort of taste.

I recently saw that TFA has come out with a "DX" (diketone free) version of Bavarian Cream, but bullcity is out of stock and ecigexpress doesn't seem to have it yet; I'm really looking forward to getting that, when bullcity finally gets more. I really need to try it alongside the capella vanilla custard v2, because I always thought bavarian cream *was* custard, and I can't figure out what the difference might be, just from the description.
